I consider Blackburn to be one of our "Bogey" teams. We lost in vital games to them 1-0 in the old Full Members Cup Final at Wembley in 1987 and 4-3 at home in 1958 when we only needed a draw (and they needed the win) to win promotion to the old First Division. I attended both games and still feel the pain. Not optimistic. 0-3 ):
BUT, hoping to be proved very wrong and the lads surprising us two games running with a result for another vital point or even three? You never know with Charlton.
We have a draw and 2 wins against them in our last 3 meetings though.
Based on nothing but a great trip on Monday must be a home win, 2-1 with marvellous Marvin getting a goal or two, if he does my opinion of him may even change( a little)
This is going to be a tough game again. Blackburn still have a chance of the play-offs and they have quality strikers. We will need to be on the ball in the game. any lapses and they will tear us to shreds. We can concentrate against big teams, hopefully Sordell scoring a hat-trick and turning around a 2 goal deficit into a win will sprout some confidence.
Praying for a 1-0 win to Charlton, but will be happy if we sneak a draw.
Haven't had back-2-back wins all season. Can't really see that changing now - but you never know. Would be happy with a draw - especially if other results go our way.
Blackburn have had a decent enough season after a shaky start but they're not that good. They really do need each of the four teams above them to slip up in order to nick sixth place and get into the play-offs - especially with their relatively weak goal difference of 5. I really can't see it and, I suspect, neither can they.
Against that, they have the best centre forward in the division in Jordan Rhodes and, equally importantly, it would be very unlike Charlton to put us out of our misery with two games to go. I therefore expect a draw and hope the other results go our way, leaving us needing a nervous point on Tuesday to avoid last day trauma.
I think they need a win more than us, so if we are calm and disciplined from the start we will pick them off as a draw would not be too shoddy for us. I really do think we will win this one.
Someone said that Jordan Rhodes is the best striker in the division but in past performances Morro and co have hardly given him a sniff. Suspect that it's a challenge that our vice captain looks forward too.
I've given up on predictions but do hope that we don't see a large deterioration of our goal difference so do the biz Morro!

Nonsense! We all know it's between Church and Sordell.
In all seriousness - Morro is a top defender in this division and has also played against Rhodes more than most over recent years so will know how to handle him. As for the best forward in this division, I'd say McCormack, Ings and possibly Austin are better than Rhodes.
A tricky one to predict. It's Saturday for a start, and we always lose 3-0 on Saturdays. And there's the Tuesday game to consider, surely we'll want Sordell playing against his old club?
What we need is Darren Ditcher back for one game...
Not surprising given the level of foul mouthed abuse from so called. 'supporters' in the Lower West Stand. Even Jose had to turn around and remonstrate with them at the last home atch. They are around rows K and L seats approx 119 and it is about time they are got rid of but unfortunately the people around them put up with it at every match. The personal abus directed at certain players is an absolute disgrace.

0-2 or 1-3. I dont think it'll be close.

Won't even bother trying to predict the team, never mind the score.
The last team sheet looked more like a suicide note and look what happened.
I will just be happy when this season is all over and we are fourth from bottom (or better).
