He's hardly played this season and is far from being fit yet, in the time he was on the pitch, he skinned his marker twice, once which culminated in him being hacked down and the defender getting booked and the second time he put in a great ball to Buyens who should have scored. I'm not getting on anyone's back but that's more than Igor or Harriott have produced in seven or eight games.
The constant sniping at him is so dull but unless he scores a hat trick, he's always going to get stick from certain quarters.
I am actually of the opinion that Simon Church is a good footballer ... but he's just not really a striker!
If you see him with the ball out wide he actually gets into good areas, reaching the by-line which we don't see enough of in this team, and delivering good balls into the box.
I seem to remember a really good assist like this at home last year, Leeds maybe? Jacko scored it I think.
Same as against Brighton and also yesterday where he left their right back for absolute dead a couple of times. He wasn't amazing, no. But I think he can do a job out wide, I think it's time to calm down the Simon Church bashing for a while.
SLP reporting Spanners are after Churchy. Am really hoping this is true and they take him off our hands. If they play him, that's another relegation place taken.

Read somewhere that he'd been injured for a while which is why he's unattached. If he's recovered he'd probably do a job for Plymouth, who look like they've only had the one good game ... now who was that against?

To be fair they drew with Shrewsbury (damned good goal they scored) on Saturday
The article on newsnow refers to him as and I quote "The Amersham born 28 year old goal machine" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its the same sort of logic as "we've drawn 2 of our last 5, I've got a good feeling about beating Millwall next week" that we hear each year.

I am now pessimistic whenever he is near the starting 11.
Believe me. I hope he proves me wrong and bangs in lots of goals. But I cannot see it happening.
Smallwall Championship winners 2014/15 I can see it now
Not that I want him to go through that, but it would just mean inevitable points dropped if they ever played him!
fuck it...im missing that day. I can't bear the pain of seeing him masquerading as a footballer again
Oh Hey Karlan!
