Some of the street food vendors about these days are serving up some proper burgers.

I'll compile a list at some stage as I've made a bit of a thing of visiting a fair few small businesses around London that operate in the many street food markets across the capital.

One that sticks out from recent memory is called The Patate. They are at West India Quays 'KERB on the Quay' street market on Fridays.

There's a few others there on other days that are also worth checking out.
  • Rox Burger, Lewisham High Street, by a country mile.
  • If any of you get the chance to visit Germany (its in Berlin at least) Burgermeister is incredible.
  • Apart from mine... In 5 diner.... In nuremberg in December.
  • Had an incredible burger at Dirty Bones near piccadilly circus last weekend, would recommend.
  • Certainly not one from our resident burger boy.

So out of the question if you’re pulling your horns in.

  • I had a pork burger in Milan that is genuinely the best burger I've ever had I think

It was purchased in a bar called Lambiczoon that also had hands down the best selection of beers I have ever seen

What I'm saying is: if you're in Milan, go there
  • Casino El Camino in Austin Texas, was superb!!

  • One of the best has to be the B.B.B from burger and beyond at Public SE18.

Double cheese on French......at The Dutch Goose Menlo Park California.....I used to eat them by the truck load!
  • We brought some hamburgers in a butchers in a small town called Pitres in southern Spain, they were very good.
  • Hate those brioche buns...they ruin a good burger for me.

Couldn’t agree more, absolutely no need for it.
  • Spicy Bean burger from Lidl. £1.25 for a box of four.
  • Falafel Burger in Amsterdam a few years ago
  • Honest burger is unreal
  • Usually only have burgers when hungover. ( or at football) Bk double whopper normally does the job, but special ones - boisdale and the intercontinental in Hong Kong. Cost £26 9 years ago on room service bu but due to its rareness, kept me going most of the next day after a 7am finish the night/ mornings before.

I've been meaning to try these for a while, I've heard a lot of good stuff.

Le Bun is the best I've had off the top of my heard. mmmm....
  • Went to Hello burger in Sidcup a couple of weeks ago. Second time there.

First time I went I wasn't all that impressed but this time was much much better. Not Patty and bun level, but not far off it.

For a local-ish burger this place is very impressive and so much better than Hello Burger in Sidcup.
  • Think Dip&Flip is still my favourite in London but the Mac and Wild burger is also brilliant.
  • Honest burger is unreal

bacon gravy is a game changer
  • off to Bleecker burger at Spitalfields on Friday, will report back. Photo's on the site look enough to convince me.

  • Had a nice one recently at Nene Cafe & Bistro in Chislehurst. Think it was called the Burger ala Nene on the menu. Bloody lovely.
  • It's 100% about the quality of the beef, and Bleeckerburger seem to have nailed it.

Best Burger i have ever had was weirdly enough in Hamburg at a place called "The Bird" Burger cooked perfectly to order with an awesome blue cheese sauce on there!

So of putting, still if the burgers good I don't mind not eating the bun.
