I love their lobster rolls but their burgers are outrageously priced at £20. They're pretty good but nowhere near the quality of Patty & Bun or Honest Burger and twice the price.
Went to a place called Tommi's on Marylebone high street last week. Very good burger reasonably priced with good fries. Not sure if it's independent or a chain.

Falafel Burger from the Fortify Cafe, 32 High Street, Maidstone. As of 2015, everything on the menu is free of meat, dairy and egg = 100% vegan. fortifycafe.co.uk/menu
The Hungry Years in Manchester Piccadilly in the 80's (UK). Point Village Resort, Negril, Jamaica - fantastic home produced 1/2 lb burger, leanest beef topped with hot West Indian sauce (and washed down with a chilled beer) - fond memories.

@dave21 the Byron burger near me is so busy it's not worth bothering with
We ate at Byron Burger on Charing Cross Road last year and all we could smell was urine wafting up from the downstairs loo.
Really not the ambience I need to enjoy food!
The irony was that the Manager refused to accept our comments and thought we were trying to get a discount - trust me, I know the smell of stale, dehydrated wee.

Fussy eater that I am, so would just want meat onion ketchup and maybe some bacon on a toasted bun preferably not brioche.
