Yes I'm out here for the World Cup and it's been class notwithstanding our disaster.
I have photos of me with gus so will post one when I can but they're on my mates camera and he's gone up to the Costa Rica game today with it so until he returns, I could well have fabricated the entire conversation!
perhaps Diego will make his. decision when he returns for training Thursday and asseses how the new set up is going, what new players are being signed and what his likely role will be in the new set up?

Well I'm aiming to be at the Training Ground entrance with a banner stating " Please stay, Diego !"
Ive heard a rumour that we've now received a satisfactory bid, that involves a loan back to us for a year so Diego can carry on his development. Seems a reasonable compromise.
Why would anyone bid he is out of contract!
I believe that as he has already signed a pro contract then, as he is under 24, if no fee was agreed it would go to a tribunal. Maybe a Club is seeking to avoid that.
Unlike Gomez who, as he hasn't yet signed a pro contract, would leave under the terms agreed between the FL and PL and we would only get a previously agreed fee.

His loyalty is to his son, so why would he say anything other than what he did?
Thanks for sharing, Paul Sturgess - much appreciated.
You have given me the hump !

Shame about the guff that KHA responded with.
What's everyone else planning to do ???

Because he really is Paul sturgess
Oh, wait a minute.
People are fair to be disappointed, but there's not a lot we could've done.
We move on.
