You would have thought that Jacko and a few of the others already staying would have had a word and nudged him into signing but if he goes then he goes and good luck to him
Thats a really strange icon type thing in the background! The one with the Stag and the Cross, is it illuminated? Can anyone suggest what it might be..?
Surely it's nothing to do with House Baratheon, or is it? Maybe Diego is going to sign for Westeros United.

There was me hoping it was something mysterious like some weird stag worshipping Uruguayan cult.......mind you, if Wikipedia can be trusted the truth of the matter is also a little odd, as per the following -
The label on Jägermeister bottles features a glowing Christian cross seen between the antlers of a stag. This image is a reference to the two Christian patron saints of hunters, Saint Hubertus and Saint Eustace, both of whom converted to Christianity after experiencing a vision in which they saw a Christian cross between the antlers of a stag.
Strangely I do not feel bitter about him if he does go. I think he made a major contribution to us retaining Championship status and our previous owners did not secure him long term.I think he might follow his Dad to Sunderland.
The way I interpreted the quotes about working together. It was about establishing himself somewhere away from Gus. I think it is fair to say after winning player of the year after making 23 league and cup appearances he has now done that. The fact his brother is in Leeds adds weight to this as the family would all be close by.
After giving him his first team debut just 20 games ago (i think) and being at Charlton since a small kid, if true and he is going thanks Diego nothing like a bit of loyalty in the game. Problem for me is the club are gonna miss out on a big transfer fee for him, thats why i would be really pissed off if he went.
all the people saying good riddance and the like.....
reconsider your lives
the lad is pure class, if it weren't for him we would be in league one right now
we have an unknown manager/no real signs of squad strengthening as of yet and all our 'best' players are on their bike, he is quite rightly regarded as one of the best young midfielders outside of the premier league coveted by top clubs here and abroad.... what would you do if you were him?
whatever/wherever you choose Diego, I wish you every success

I feel quite foolish now. Though in my defence it wasn't reported up here.
No worries. Short hair may go well in his new teams kit

Edit: Okay, it has been changed.
Then cash in afterwards! Same with Morro if he hints he may go.

He's a youngster and has a bright future but if he doesn't want to play for us then the feelings mutual, he's not wanted.
It was important who the manager was and that he saw the squad being strenghtened.
Hope he stays but not looking promising.
But when it's on the OS.
We def need you HERE, Diego!
