And proven exactly why I respect the man so much. Charlton's loss. I had commented to my partner that I wanted to be able to tell CP how much I respected him, how sorry I was that he had gone and how the game needs more people like him. And that he is appreciated. He's so damn good, he called me himself so I could tell him and thank him!

    Wanted to wish me well. And apologise for missing the Bromley meeting. We talked a bit about about him leaving but I don't want to share a private call as he was very honest and I will let him say what he wants in his words, though the FMA I believe.

    Why wouldn't you believe her? Because it doesn't suit your view of Chris Powell? So now you are calling people liars?

    She was going to come and meet Chris at the Bromley Addicks meeting but as we know that was cancelled.

    Someone asked Chris to ring Fiona to make up for missing him at the meeting and as a going away present.

    And despite just having been sacked (or maybe because he'd just been sacked so has more time on his hands) he made the effort to ring a fan personally.

    my 10 year old nephew was on his way to meet CP at Bromley Addicks and had a good question to ask too. He was gutted when it was cancelled. He wasn't happy when CP was sacked and tearful the other night when we drew against Huddersfield as we were still bottom and he so doesn't want us to go down. Can someone get CP to give him a call please, landline or mobile is fine.
