There are two Scottish Premiership games tonight, just saying.
We've been linked with Callum Paterson from Hearts. Right back, 22, Scotland international but originally from London. Contract up at the end of the season.
See, got to think a bit wider than Bolton v Gillingham
Wasn't the whole point that Bolton vs Gillingham was the only game tonight, and KR and his coaching staff are off up north to watch a match!
Only English first team game. Premier reserve games and Scottish games too.
A Premier Reserve match maybe, but I can't see them all going up to Edinburgh the night before we play
I doubt they will all go to the same game on the same night. They can use Karel Fraeye's only tactic and "spread out"
Boys night out. They've all gone to get pissed in Blackpool, and are using Cawley as cover
Robinson would go way up in my estimations if this were true.

Lawrie Wilson is coming home.
Few ex-Charlton played last night, Wilson, Wagstaff, Konchesky and..........Nouble.
Robonson says on youtube that he and his staff were, between them, watching a game in the north-east at 7.00 pm, another game in the north-west and a game in north London last night
So either the Everton or Liverpool game, maybe the Bolton game and the Spurs game.
And more games being scouted on Wednesday.
All good stuff but other proper managers (ie not Fraeye who did even bother at first to scout the Col U cup game preferring to just ask Callum Harriot) and their scouts would have been putting the same hours and number of games in, we just didn't hear about it.
I would like to think that Robbo had a very good idea of who is available and wants, and has now also seen the list of our scouts recommendations. No doubt his requirements differ from what Slade was looking for so they are rushing around seeing who are the best fits.
The down side is that one would have hoped that deals would have been all but set up and ready to go by now so we can recruit day 1. Also looks like loans not buys? The up side is that it very much looks like that Robbo and his team are doing the sorting.
Bradley Dack would not come to Charlton. He would go to a champ club like QPR, Reading etc. Think we need to forget that one IMO
We kept getting told this in the summer but he's still at Gillingham.
We also heard the same thing about Ajose.
He might hold a grudge but I'm not sure you can say he'd never sign for us. If no one else is interested/offers enough to Gillingham and we give him a big contract would he really turn it down?
@Clem_Snide could put the Dack situation in to context. But I reckon he's probably tired of doing so on here!
I think it would be a very safe bet to say he won't be coming to Charlton.
I've heard him say it himself. He definitely holds a grudge and stated it in his speech at the football league awards.

Watching reserve/U21 matches is part of the standard procedure for lower league managers, I imagine Robinson has good contacts with PL academies
Think some are reading too much into this up north thing. Every manager when free will be going to games, doesn't really mean to close to signing anyone.
Was he the guy that gave Chris Solly the runaround, when playing for Peterborough?...
I don't know but on a more serious note he was quite good on Football Manager 2013, so I expect Thomas Driesen is already drafting an email to Karl Robinson to explain how he best suits his innovative diamond formation.

Lawrie Wilson is coming home.
Well, a Lawrie Wilson announced over the PA system that he was piloting my flight home yesterday. Mind you, a bloke called Stephen Gerrard was customer service manager.....
Edited to add: it was a tad disconcerting that he kept banging on about being on approach to Heathrow when we were flying into Gatwick, so it could well have been the footballer rather than a BA pilot.
However - would you accept it if it meant RD getting some money he could trouser & then bugger off ??
Very disappointing yes, disaster no. That depends on who we bring in. At the moment, Magennis is probably the key member of the squad, followed by Holmes.

Traveling north you say? Must be in for Dale Stephens.
Robinson keeps saying he's lacking a number 10.
He wants to play his favourite 4-2-3-1 system but wants a playmaker to make it work.

I don't think the process started yesterday.
Rochdale winger Mendez-Laing linked

We are financially stable, we're aiming for the Premiership, we're backing the new manager, we've learnt from our mistakes, the club's not for sale.
