If the deal is off then administration is just a matter of time followed by an inevitable relegation. Would that scenario also mean that existing VIPs would lose out on the remainder of their 5 year season ticket deal?
The usual on ITV. Claims of infinite knowledge with no evidence on show. Might avoid this thread until something actually happens. This way lies madness

Well with no money whatsoever not even for loans, key players out of contract at the end of the season, I think there are lots of others who would predict such a turn of events. Nobody would hope against such a disaster more than me I can promise!
I don't think anything is off just as nothing was ever on for this week. It's 50:50 whether we get new owners before the January window. Not because I am ITK but simply that without any reliable information the odds stay at 50:50.
I am also fairly sure that there has always been more than one interested party - when people want out this is what they do and, during due dilligence, when one player asks a question the answer goes to everyone so that they all have the same information upon which to build an offer or wait and see. So, as others say, we can simply watch and wait ... and hope that a deal happens. Because without a deal the road is long ... and bumpy
Lets face it, none of us know anything, nothing has been confirmed or denied by the club. All we know is what people who claim to be itk reveal to us. Four days ago it was a 'done deal', all to be revealed on Monday or Tuesday and lo and behold, here we are on Monday and guess what? Ooh, its all fallen through, they've walked away, something didn't add up etc etc. We should've all known better after the Zabeel fiasco that these things never run smoothly and no one outside the boardroom really knows whats going on. As is often quoted....Believe it when its on the OS.

I know very little about DD. Is that the case ? How the hell does that work ??
I followed that link - I thought by ITV you meant the wealthy populist television channel that provides entertainment for people who don't understand BBC2 or long words. Instead I see it isn't a wealthy tv channel.

Not sure there's not some confusion with a competitive tender when, during the clarifications phase, all interested parties would normally be party to their competitors' questions and the answers (required by public sector regulation, best practice in the private sector). However, due diligence is the buyer's business - caveat emptor and all that.
Certainly on a closed sale, if I was the interested buyer I'd be more than a little pissed off if the money I was spending on completing due diligence was funding a competitor's interest.
I'm under the impression that nobody has pulled out but there maybe another bidder at the table. If this is correct and i'm lead to believe it is , then i just hope TJ makes the right choice and doesn't get too greedy.

If it happens it happens, it's quite worrying seeing how grown men are reacting to this not being completed yet, acting like 4 year old children who arent getting what they want

hows that for a positive spin
Playing pass and move football only, the valley would have never seen anything like it!
Swisdom got my hopes up he doesn't usually post crap and seemed sure it would be done today or tomorrow.I'm now resigned to it falling through, dam it I promised myself not to get drawn in again.
1/a seller has a price 2/bidder says "im intrested",and undertakes a DD 3/the DD finds that there are mayebe a few small issues 4/bidder makes an offer taking into consideration whats been found during DD 5/owner either excepts or not or makes an adjustment/counter proposal.
that was the basic process in the sale of a 5 star hotel i was involved in --sold eventually for £80 million in 1995.

Wouldn't be too worried about that.
Not worried at all as we'll sell before admin.

This on/never ending/now advised off take over is completely doing my head in.
