Yeah betting is definitely a punt, mainly as it will be a long odds winner more than likely. Would be a nightmare to pick out games and predict a winner over 1 frame - 10 minutes format.
Stevens definitely needs something, with others also finding form at a similar age maybe he is due. Always the nearly man too, i like him good player on his day but not played well for a while.
Not bad value Murphy as he can play fast, only thing is it is pot luck. i'll look later but he is playing well this season and considering a few amateurs, top ranked players out might be worth a cheeky 5er .
I see tonight Ursenbacher vs Lisowski around 9:10, reckon that could be a good one.
Just had a thought, Bingham is back playing again and sounds like he has been practicing. He might be a good bet also, in theory over 1 frame / 10 minutes anyone can win but you would fancy someone like Bingham who has a point to prove.
Murphy v Hawkins, 1st vs 2nd seed - personally think Murphy should win but again probably a coin toss.
Good job i swerved him in the end, he went out to 28/1 also feel he wouldn't take as serious as the Ballrun. fingers crossed would be a nice little return if one of them win.
I might have a go later if i have time pick out some winners, anyone above 50% is just lucky
Localish lad Charlie Walters on later too, he played in snooker league i play in, well stopped this season but never played him as i started the season he stopped, still route for him though.

Walters v Lawler is tomorrow.
Seem to remember him Beating Oliver Lines in the Gibraltat Open last year.
After that he went to Q School(beat Reanne Evans in the 1st round) lost in quarters then in Q School 2 again he lost in quarters.
Mark Davis (41) Alex Davies (NTM) Ross Vallance (NTM) Duane Jones (114) Ali Carter (12) Scott Donaldson (65) Lyu Haotian (74) David Lilley (NTM) Martin Gould (23) Peter Lines (89) Liam Highfield (68) Dave Gilbert (24) Matt Selt (43) Billy Joe Castle (109) Elliot Slessor (72) Barry Hawkins (8) Kuldesh Johal (NTM) Ashley Hugill (102) Mei Xiwen (70) Joe Perry (21) Allan Taylor (97) Mark Williams (7) Michael Williams (NTM) Mark King (20)

So we know the first 40 players in the 2nd round 24 more will follow starting at Midday tomorrow, which will be followed by 2nd round draw. 2nd round will stary at 7pm tomorrow
I was watching this last night, well flicking between that and darts. Still quite easy to watch but does seem a few more unknowns this year. I think the novelty might be wearing off now though, last night i was only half watching and flicking channels.
A few of the old guard winning in the eve: White, Swail, Wattana, Bond.
I haven't gone through and predicted results, will keep an eye on results over the weekend but as quite busy not sure whether i will bother with recording it either.
