If anyone knows how to fight for the club it's Danny Green, he started his career with us and was let go at 15. This boy hasn't had the run of the green but he is a fighter with natural born talent and it amazes me how Chrissy Powell continues to overlook him.
He has all the attributes for a top 10 premiership club so why are we ignoring him?
Burst of pace, can use both feet, can whip dangerous balls into the box 24/7 and works his socks off for the team.
If we have a realistic hope of promotion this year, we need Greeny back in the team. He is our ticket to the glory land that is the Barclays Premier League. If we cannot give him the time he needs, I fear a big club that can utilize his abilities like Everton, Southampton or even one of the top 5/6 will.
Come on Chris, come to your senses!

No.
He's not that fast, he can whip a dangerous ball in some times but needs a lot of space or a dead ball and even then he'll opt to shot from a corner and he doesn't work his socks off, leaving his full back exposed.

If so it seem strange that none of those top ten clubs are trying to sign him or tried during the summer. Not even a bottom ten or top of the Champ club, only MK Dons in League 1 who sent him back.
What is strange is that Green is always judged on what he is GOING to do, not what he has DONE. If only he'd get 5, 10, 15 games then he'll show us his supporters tell us but the evidence if what he has actually done doesn't match that.
If Danny Green was playing FIFA with himself
Other than that, JoeE32's post is spot on!
It's come as a bit of a shock all this negativity
You have to trust me on this, he is the answer to a promotion this season.
I thought mine was shared by others but clearly I am wrong!
He is not good enough, that said...neither is Green.
Pritchard, Stewart, Wilson I would all prefer in the right midfield to Green, I'd rather take a chance on a Harriot style youth product than see him start for Charlton in the Championship. With some of his tackling, he's better at giving away free kicks than taking them, not that he does a lot of defending on the best of days. He's no better at set pieces or taking a shot from range than Stephens, Jackson or Stewart, he's slower than Church.
I don't care whose academy he came from or what age he left it, he is pants, completely and totally pants. One or two good performances don't make a good player, and I can't remember him having more than that.
But as someone mentioned above, his lack of a defensive side to his game leaves the full backs too exposed and unless he sorts that out, i cant see him starting a game for us in the championship. Plus powell doesnt play with 2 wingers, normally with 1 centre mid playing out wide (normally pritchard). Stewart for me performed well in the last few games and also i would have Harriott ahead of him in the pecking order.
