Millwall away I left my seat when the fourth went in, but obviously didn't get out for a while longer.
Aside from the that, I think Millwall at home this season is the only time I've ever left a game before injury time - just couldn't stand the idea of being stuck on a train full of them celebrating for the second year in a row.
Don't normally leave early but will prob leave a couple of minutes early tomorrow due to catching a train up to Norwich after the game for a stag. One time in the second year of league 1 went down at HT for a beer and never went back up.

I did that in the Derby game 4/5 years back. think it was on monday night on sky, so just stood at the bar watching it. terrible game.
that millwall game was the only away game I wanted to leave but couldn't. that's what really annoyed me about it. usually at home I always leave early. between the 60th and 65th minute I'm off. Stroll down Floyd road catching the last bits of the afternoon weather peacefully alone before heading to the station to board an empty train. Love it. can't understand the fascination with staying around for the last 20mininutes or so. IMO 45 mins each way is just an excessive amount of football. half an hour each way is bearable and I think FIFA should look into it.
mine aint based on football reasons more what I want the day to be about, if its about the footie I stay, if its about a good booze a good laugh and a right good session then its back to boozer
Grimsby at home at Upton Park night game 3-0 down before half time, home in Swanley about 10 mins into the second half, think Mendonca scored at least a couple for them that night.
Last and only one since I was a child (out of my control) was the 3-0 cup defeat to Fulham played at Loftus Road 26/01/03 when we took the 'Sava' masks, left about 15 mins early. Dire cup performance for a change which warranted a quick exit to beat the crap Sunday train service home.
Only once at half time in the 70's as a kid. It was vs Fulham and it tipped it down, and we got totally drenched. This was on the open East Terrace before the redevelopment of the ground. I think the game finished 1-1. The sun came out after half time. Even though soaked to the skin, I didn't want to leave but had no choice. It was the only game that my mum ever took us too, never attended another one.
As kids it was mostly my nann and grandad who took us. There was one of dad's work mates took us, who used to go to the pub and leave us in the ground to be followed around the ground by the away fans (when there was no fences or physical divisions between the away and home support end). I can remember dads work mate used to drive home before the end of the game to meet the rush in the car via Woolwich Dockyard. Not my choice, but it was good to get back to see the final score on the TV.
I think we left 8 mins before the end of Charlton vs Chelsea, when we beat them 4-0 and they tried to get the game abandoned by starting a fire in the covered 'shed' end. We left to avoid the trouble at the end of the match, which was sensible as Chelsea fans caused a lot of damage on the outside of the ground after the game.
Now, I don't leave before the end of games but occassionally scoot up the road to the station 1 minute or so before if I have to get on the train with lots of cheerful, noisy away fans travelling back up to London if we have been heavily defeated.
Its great the happy buzz of the crowd in the walk up to the station in the crowd after a great home performance and win. Part of being in a home crowd is an enjoyable part of football and don't see the point of missing that.
Karim's routine exit after 60 minutes completely baffles me. I never miss a second - won't even dare going to the khazi and missing a goal. What's the latest you have arrived at a ground? A mate and I were drinking in Rotherhithe before going up to London Bridge and getting a train to Haydons Road for Wimbeldon v Charlton at Plough Lane. We arrived a few minutes before half time. I was half-cut, and screaming through the fence at Vinnie Jones: "You're an animal, Jones. An animal!"
All this missing the end of a film bollocks makes me laugh. You can watch every goal in every league ten times over and more within the next 24 hours and it's not like you don't ever get to know the ending is it. TOSH!
I just don't understand WHY you would leave early - no matter how badly we may be playing ??. The game only lasts 90 mins (120 mins if you include half time & injury time) so you've planned to be there for 2 hrs or so, why leave before the end. You may miss the goal of the season, or an incident that will be talked about for years (Brad Friedel's goal & Jensens immediate response or a Hales/Flanagan punch up) Would you leave a tennis match before the end ? Unless you have to be jetting off on holiday or getting married later that day then why hurry to leave ??
i leave when we are playing well, I leave when we are playing poor, and I have even left 6 mins in before it was established if we were playing well or shit
