  • When is the draw made?
  • The fourth qualifying round draw takes place on Monday.
  • I really enjoyed it at Welling yesterday, standing on the terraces watching players who gave it 100 per cent. An excellent performance from the wings. The manager is doing a great job there on a shoestring.

    After 1030am live on talksport
  • Welling drawn away to Maidstone
  • Greenwich Borough away at Leamington or Worcester City. Both in the Conference North. Not ideal.
  • Dartford home to Burgess Hill. Interesting draw. At least we're home (and it's not FGR).
  • Evesham vs Bromley or Grays
  • I'd say Dartford have the most favourable draw of that lot.

    I've got mine
  • I'm off to Beckenham Town vs Ashford United tomorrow.
  • Ebbsfleet v Hayes and Yeading for me tomorrow.

Does anyone know when the FA Cup replays will be? Next week?
  • Dulwich Hamlet v Hendon today. Two good teams and two illustrious London non-league clubs. Come on down to Champion Hill...it'll be fun.
  • Recently, I got into conversations with a few of the Dover Athletic players. We were all on Doncaster Station, me heading home East and they waiting for the London train.
What a really nice group of young men, looking immaculate in their 'walking about' training gear, lugging big bags of kit up the steep station steps. They were very happy and full of it but not too over boisterous after getting a point at Grimsby.
I was very impressed by their obvious love of the game, their knowledge of all aspects of the game, their joy at making part of their living through playing football, the game they obviously love, their understated, realistic ambitions and hopes.
I have no affiliation with Dover Athletic (other than the 'athletic' part of the name) but now, I wish them all the very best for the seasons ahead.

Dover are semi pro and I believe they train for 3 evenings a week or twice if they have a game. Welling train 3 mornings a week from 10am. Thats a massive commitment for people that have other jobs. Good luck to them.
There's a nice article about Dover by Ian Wright in today's SUN
  • I'm also popping down to watch ebbsfleet today. Word is if they don't win, brown will be getting sacked

    2 0 now
  • Make that 2 1, come on Welling
  • FT: Maidstone United 2-1 Welling United. :-)
  • Both Dartford and Bromley are in the draw for the next round of the FA Cup

I think Browns days are numbered now

And were very average. Good away performance from Hayes I thought-nick a goal and sit back and contain and then another goal on the break.
Why is Brown under so much pressure? They're having a good season aren't they? Or are expectations higher?
  • Maidstone thoroughly deserved their win today but I was very underwhelmed by their ground. Terrible view of the pitch for a lot of the ground and a lot of wasted space either side of the grandstand.
