Conundrum. If we are safe and only a loss to City on the last day will guarantee relegation for Smallwall. Would you want us to win to save our neighbours?
Knew Henry was out for the rest of the season but only just read that Afobe , their loanee striker from the Gunners, suffered a bad injury on Tues evening and has returned to Arsenal for an operation.....bless !
Hope Rob Hulse is in a generous mood on Saturday and that Danny has a Shittu of a game !
I really do hope for a 0-0 then they get extra time then lose 5-4 on penalties would be fantastic. Then it will be a good job they didn't get them "Wembley season tickets"

Not wanting to poop on the party in this thread - but they are 3 points behind with 2 games in hand. Maybe we should ask if we could go down which would bother me far more. If they can get dragged into it, then so can we. So I would settle for the bottom 3 staying a distance from both fo us.
You could hear the collective sigh of disappointment down the Old Kent Road. They were wetting themselves at the prospect of reinacting the Football Factory at the beginning of April
1) Their cup run: as already pointed out, losing on penalties after ET can leave them leaden legged - but also, if out of the cup, a steely determination to save their season.
If they win their replay, could give them the confidence and pride to get the next job done.
2) Their shocking League form: all bad runs come to an end eventually. Jackett will be well motivated to turn things round.
It really is down to Chris Powell and the team to get a result on Saturday - they know well enough what it means to us, the supporters. Tactics and the determination to win must be spot on.
Can Millwall go down? Sure they can, if their League form continues; games in hand mean nothing if they are not turned into points.
Interestingly, most of their remaining fixtures are against the teams surrounding them - which will enable them to quickly climb the table if they win, but could prove catastrophic for them if they continue a winless run.
Personally, I feel they will stay up - they've already twice played the current bottom 4.
the magic of the cup, love watching the spanners on tv, never fail to be worse than you can imagine, they are going down ifd we can beat them, they are in freefall.
Great draw for Wigan. God knows when the Man U Chelsea replay will take place if Chelsea win their Europa league game on Thursday!
I can see teams in the Premier League declining entry into the Europa League soon. There is very little money in it, once you add a few players to your squad to cope with it it becomes loss making unless you get to the later stages and in the run in it is so much less important than qualifying for the Champions League the following season.
Christ, if we can't beat the Spanners now then we may as well give up hope. I have a feeling that their game at Blackburn might go all the way to penalties - how good would that be for us?
Bottom line, they won't be getting back home until early hours of Thursday morning - meaning they will have Thursday off and then have only one day to prepare for the game at The Valley.
Their preparations won't be ideal but beware that they will have 3000 fans at the valley on Saturday and to be honest we don't have many tricks up our sleeve for them to be too bothered about.
Come kick off time they will be just as pumped up as our players will.

Sort of agree but well have 17000 and our players will be as pumped up as them. Ner ner.

Just trying to manage expectations but when it comes to these derby games i suppose there's no chance or point. The build up is most of the fun. Well this season anyway.
Would have preferred the replay to be after the Charlton game for more distraction and players not wanting to injure themselves, but having to play up north 3 days before is pretty good as well.
A tough game, draw after 90 minutes, extra time and penalties would be the ticket.

Seems their real cup final was when they played the local team that means so littlle to them

United/Chelsea vs. City
What happened to the 40,000 Spanners that went to Wembley for the Play Offs?
Millwall, the only team in the world whose supporters support the team by not supporting them at all - apart from in the pub on TV.
Laughable, they have big problems.
