I have seen the thread on FollowFollow. As has been stated previously there are a reasonable amount of Charlton & Rangers fans. I can see you are not too bothered where you sit but have put a preference, can you clarify why (appreciate there may be an innocent enough reason)? Not being awkward but if people help you and you turn out to support Millwall, then they lose their right to buy tickets in the future.
So, the suspense is killing me. Did Frodo and the blue noses (good name for a band!) get tickets or not? And will we see the photos..........not holding my breath.
I met up with TTWD on Thursday night after earlier emailing him on the back of his messages on here. As soon as I offered assistance, he sent over the money and, after a couple of beers with him and his girlfriend, I knew that there were no problems-both very nice people who clearly had no affiliation towards Millwall. The Charlton hats and scarfs they had on when I gave them the tickets before the game yesterday were further proof!
hello all....will post some more in depth stories later, a bit jetlagged as we just returned to NYC late last night.
in brief, i did meet up with a Charlton supporter Thursday night for a drink in the London Bridge area and he had agreed to get me tickets to the match.
saturday was a rainy, miserable day both on and off the pitch as watching Millwall celebrate never makes for a pleasant day! other than that though i had a great time and both my girlfriend and my friend, attending his first match, enjoyed the game and the atmosphere.
i will post some pictures soon i have to get them from my phone to my computer and you can see my ugly face at the valley! we all supported charlton on the day, although my girlfriend wore her west ham gloves to keep warm! was seated in the east stand in Row J and both my friend and i picked up a charlton hat and i got a scarf as well.
thought the Valley was a great stadium and all the Charlton supporters were amazing. even got some sh!t from Millwall supporters as we were winding our way around the neighborhood to catch the train.
hoping Charlton finish the season strongly and Millwall miraculously go down! would definitely visit the Valley again, hopefully in the Premiership one day soon!

thanks to everyone who offered assistance and to those who were skeptical, i certainly understand and wish Charlton nothing but the best for the season!
Pleased that you all had a decent experience at the Valley despite the result.
Also pleased that the person who got you the tickets was not let down.
Your girlfriend's choice a glovewear is not the best & could have resulted in you being informed of the same, in no uncertain terms, by some people.
i tried to tell her to not wear them but the cold and rain won out....she did listen to me and turned the logo on the inside of her palm rather than the back of her hand so it wasnt visible....she was hoping the red jacket and hat would be enough to show her support for the home team
I actually brought 6 tickets for some Norweigns who I met. They were over for the Chelsea V West Ham game.
They were good lads and were interested in Charlton because of Thomas Myrhe and they saw us as a big club.
Its quite sad to think had I not taken the chance on buying them tickets they would have had a wasted day and for any other game the club would have bitten their hands off
I got 6 West Stand hospitality tickets for a mate as he had some people he owed a favour to - think they were Millwall but not sure.
They said they enjoyed the day out and were thankful they were able to go into the Millenium suite after and avoid all the hassle outside. Knowing him as I do, I imagine they were well pisst.
