Saw Paul Walsh being a nuisance for Portsmouth at Tranmere at the tail end of his career. Saw Paul Emblen getting mercilessly flattened by some northern clogger defenders (Notts County possibly) at Priestfield in his Brighton days. I'm not counting seeing Barnes, Fattywank and others at their relative peaks elsewhere before showing up in SE7 cos we had really big shorts available. Also not counting all our former stars who've been turning out for the various Vets teams post retirement
Paul Walsh is the only one I can think of but was fairly young when he played for Portsmouth. There must be others but perhaps lesser known players that wouldn't have been on my radar back then
I went to see Haringey Borough vs Hornchurch, and can add two players in the Hornchurch team, Jamie Mascoll and Oliver Muldoon, neither of which played in the league for us but did have appearances in cup games which I didn't see!
