Well think last time we played them away on a saturday, O Neils and Patricks opened at 12 so maybe The George if just to start to get few drinks in earlier. Yourself?
The Bridge in Penge - still not got tickets though !
That's a decent boozer (in fact as a Penge dweller I'd say it is the only one.) I will be headed to the Grape and Grain across the park in Crystal Palace itself. It has tremendous real ales of which Pure Gold by Purity is the pick. You can just about stagger to the ground from there and it is downhill. (That's if you've survived the walk up Anerley Hill....)
Palace have advised that all tickets will be checked as fans enter the stadium, and if a supporter is unable to prove their concessionary rate with the appropriate ID, they will be sent back to the main ticket office where they will have to upgrade their ticket to that of an adult.

Gotta be worth the risk. At worst you pay the adult rate ?

Wonder what Airman's slant on this is following his earlier comment about queues forming/police involvement.
Have just gone into the OS and see this info has been added to the "Ticket" link and not to the main body of latest news. Most who have already purchased tickets would be unlikely to revisit that section of the website for this match & hence would be unaware of the apparent necessity to bring some ID .
I do not hold a driving licence, my passport is currently being updated ( due to recent sex change ) and my bus pass does not have a date of birth on it. Suggestions what I should take along on the day, please.

An extra £14................sorry couldn't resist it :-) Ridiculous state of affairs..........only Palace!
I reckon they're bluffing, could be chaos outside the ground otherwise. Am guessing they've either been looking at Charlton Life and seen the number of people saying they'll get a student ticket, or they did a count up after they played Brighton and found out that only 5 people in the away end had bought an adult ticket and the remaining 2595 were all apparently either over 60 or under 21, now they're trying to deter us from doing the same.

They will just need to look at you to know you qualify as a concession Fanny.
Last time we were there the pub outside Thorntonheath Train Station was full of Addicks and absolutely rocking, possibly the best pre-game pub atmosphere I've witnessed in all these years. More of the same please.
