  • Not bad millwall would have 450 for same
  • SCP's comments sum it up for me

“It’s a shame because we have been on a good run and the confidence has been good. Again for large parts of the game we were the better team but I’m sitting here thinking ‘how did we lose that?’ A player of N’Gog’s quality and class was the difference in the end.”
  • 0% top two..... 10% chance 3rd-6th..... 30% 7th-12th .... 60% 13th-21st...... 0% the dreaded R

Think you are still too negative ...don't see it as more than 40% for bottom half of table based on recent form and returning injuries over next few weeks.

Of course, its difficult to ever prove you wrong as you change the percentages every week ...so ultimately, in the last week of the season, you will say you always call it right ...but your odds from a few weeks ago will show a different story.

That said, I always enjoy looking for your latest 'odds' each week.
  • Devrite looked absolutely bamboozled for both goals. Sadly Ngog had is one decent game against us.
  • Amazing.

When we lose our first game in 8 it's all the managers fault and people start digging out his decision making.

Do people really think we should be going the rest of the season undefeated? I mean, really?
  • Really don't want to knock Dervite but Cort has to start next game. Is it just coincidence that the defence has leaked goals without him in the last two matches?
Would agree with what someone said above - I know their team were only playing 'little ol' Charlton' but the Bolton fans hardly made the Reebok a cauldren of noise.

A few reasonable signings with no notable departures and I can see us top half /play off push but who knows what'll happen in the window
And I agree a slightly negative slant in the numbers but I just haven't been convinced in really any of our performances that I've seen this season but the results have been good overall

I think generally over a season I've called most reasonably accurate except the season SCP took over , I was convinced we were play off material and we finished 13th !
  • Thought this had 0-0 all over it until Bolton subs came on midway throught the 2nd half and they scored 2 goals which i think flattered them.

We Looked a bit lacking up front, would have tried a 4-4-2 and used Hulse and Cort.

Oh well more dissapointed that we lost to a very average pedestrian passing side like Bolton,Concentration lost us the game in the end.

Not gonna win or get a result all the time, we need to make subs earlier to try and influence the game.
  • We're a mid table side which we'll have good games and poor ones . Other sides definitely have a cutting edge that we lack but that will come with time through improvement of players.

Saw the goals Dervite get turned twice, good play from N Gog but it'll mean Cort is back next week which is good

Not having seen it yet but if Dervite got turned badly do we think Cort who has not got turning speed down as one of his strength would do better. Is this a case of "the less he plays the better he gets"
  • No, the question is why drop Cort when unlike Taylor last year his performances had not deteriorated.
  • Ngog did what Fuller has done for us in a few games!
  • 634 addicks at Bolton (not all from london) reasonable for us

The majority tho, surely. Good turnout before Christmas

  • Agree that mobility is not Leon's greatest asset but it would appear he forms a better partnership with Morro and should return next week. Hope SCP ditches the Haynes out wide left aproach next week as he needs to play off the centre half, trying to get behind the defence, how often does that happen, we need to use his pace more effectively.

Would like to see Stephens thread passes in behind rather than sideways, but not totally convinced he can do that in the final third, we do lack a little creativity

However would have taken our position 8weeks ago so hard to be too critical on lads or Scp

I thought Cort was dropped or rather rotated as horses for course policy when we played Brighton (CMS). My point was would Cort have been better than DeVitte against Ngog, on the other hand Cort would have been great against Kevin Davies. I think that Cort is very unlicky to have been rotated out of the side, but I had no problem with the selection yesterday and it does sound like the class of Ngog was what undid us not the team selection.

  • Cort dropped at Millwall
  • Only difference may have been that Morro would have matched up with Ngog whilst Cort tends to attack the first ball, just think the balance may have been a little better, but was a bit of class that done for us. If Cort comes back next week I think there's the answer as to who our better partnership is, but tactically it was worth the try although it may not have worked this time
  • Cort dropped at Millwall

Cort played at Millwall with Dervite as Morrison was suspended

  • Dervite had a great game, as did Cort, against Millwall. This might stir the hornets nest but I was disappointed that Cort was dropped for Morro against Brighton. Surely you want to promote competition and it looks very much like that wasn't the case.

  • The last person that suggested the dropping of Morro was slaughtered Never gonna happen which is probably right at this stage
  • But that's my point, he wouldn't have been dropped. Anyone at Millwall would have seen how well the two played. The thing is what message does that give to those not in the fray ?
  • Morrison is the main man at the back, so when he's fit he plays until such time as his form goes. It hasn't gone, so he plays. Simple really.

How would you know? You were smashed.

    Haha !!
  • A dull game with neither team creating much until N'gov came on. We were VERY predictable up front, endless hoofs to yann. Dervite struggled against Davies, I had expected cort to play with aerial strength, but it was N'gog's skill that made the difference
  • I'd take 14th now and regard it as a good season. Play-offs would be great, but let's be honest, we are not quite there with the squad. Consolidation this season is certainly better than relegation.

I'm in the "Cort camp" - can't really understand why he wasn't playing yesterday as I think he and Morro are our best centre back pairing. Having said that, I have huge respect for CP so I have to think he has a good reason for changing.

Cort doesn't need to be mobile if his positioning is correct in the first place. Don't understand why he's been dropped.
