Started going in 1980, and been going ever since including the full set of last game at valley, first and last at both shithurst and upton, then 92 back at the valley.
Not forgetting those of us that cdnt get a ticket. Just shows how much the whole thing raised our profile and why we were pretty much at capacity year on year after that even when expanding, not forgetting the target campaigns of course
We were there but changed circumstances mean that nowadays we don't make it to The Valley as often as we'd like to but we'll never forget that great day and CAFC will always be in our hearts.
Yep, there in 92 and yesterday. Also at Carlisle for 2 promotions, Battle at the Bridge, St Andrews v Leeds, 4-3 away at Villa, season tickets at Sellout and Upton Parks, Woolwich Town Hall (outside in the rain!), cleared the trees off the terrace and Wembley for Blackburn in the Full Members Cup and, of course, Sunderland.......not sure many can match that list.
Was in the Jimmy Seed stand for the Pompey game, season ticket since 1986 (unfortunately at Selhurst). Now graduated to Lower West Stand. Only missed a handful of home games since.
Of the 3, just me. My dad and his mate stopped going in '05 for different reasons, shame really as they had been since the early 70s. I'll keep flying the flag though.
Was there in 92 and there yesterday with my dad been going since upton park days. Dads been going since he was 11 he's now 63 . Ups downs joy and tears is what supporting charlton is all about that's why I love them so much CAFC till I die
does anyone remeber thegate for the 2nd game against oxford
No idea, but I was at that one too... And every other game that season. Just saying, like :-)
I was under the impression that from our return onwards we were virtually allways sold out - untill about 3 or 4 years ago ?
Asked a mate if he went he said no as couldn't get ticket but went against oxford as was a couple thousand short. But i can remember some games some fans get locked out notts county being one of them
I can't remember which of us went in 92, but think it was probably all 5 siblings. At one time we had 8 season ticket holders, now there are 3 plus my oldest brother goes about once a month with his daughter.
Yep i was there and now take my son to the games. i helped cl;ear the pitch, marched to the town hall, delieverd valley party leaflets and skipped school to help out at the polling stations and open top bus. (dont tell my mum )

I'm an exception of course, as no doubt are many that have moved away.
Was there in 92 but visits are rare these days for obvious reasons.
Should be at the Derby game later this month.
We were both original VIP investors and I still am.
My son was proud to be wearing my "Back to the Valley" home shirt today that I wore 20 years ago.
Nice one Eric - must have made you really proud to
But i can remember some games some fans get locked out notts county being one of them
Still there 20 years later :-)
