  • Good move. Getting experience another division higher.

Do Orient play Shrewsbury (Mambo at CB) in this period?
  • Good.

like Mambo, moving up the leagues and getting valuable experience.

Is bound to learn a lot from strikers like Mooney and Lisbie : - )

  • I love this period while Charlton fans are eagerly anticipating the contribution that youngsters will make. Just before we write them off after a few games.

    True : - )
  • interesting move. Hope gets plenty of game time. Surprised he's gone up a league, Wycombe fans didn't seem think he was all that great in his spell there but you've got to put that down to the injury and only short cameos on the pitch
  • They've got 8 games in the next 4 weeks, plenty of game time available there
  • Orient have really gone for Charlton connections with their strikers this season.Lisbie,Mooney,MacDonald,Wagstaff and now Azeez.
  • Azeez, Mooney and Lisbie up front then?

Isn't Lee Cook there as well

Only problem is that he is Cup tied for the JPT having already played for Wycombe in an earlier round.

The Wycombe management certainly thought highly of him. A good move for him, clearly he's got something about him to get a L1 loan at a young age, when some of our other young players have ended up in the Conference (e.g. Michael Smith)
  • Good move. Interesting to see how he does.
  • He will probably look like messi......

    Alongside Mooney :)
  • Hope he does well comes back to us and getssosome game time with us until end of season. We need more pace options in th squad
  • Out of interest, do Lifers think going on loan to club like Norwich (as parker did) is better or worse than going to a "local" club: As in, if you stay local you just carry on normally, but if you go further-afield you "grow-up" and become more independant ?
  • Starting for the O's at Donny.

Good point, I'd say it depends on the players character and mental make up, good for some, not so good for others. What a great move for him though, having him start in League 1 is fantastic for both himself and us

Subbed around Half Time for the legend that is David Mooney.

  • Azeez was substituted 13 secods into the 2nd half, according to the BBC report.
    13 seconds ..... what's that all about?

Unless he just missed Azeezy chance in front of goal. Sorry, I'll get my coat.

On a different tack, I see Ebbsfleet have Lanre Azeez playing for them.
Is he related to our lad, does anyone know?
  • not even in the squad today. Nice.
