  • Good luck Ade. Play a few games, score some goals, get noticed. Play for us next season till January and follow Shelvey or Jenks out the door for huge bucks! Loadsamoney!

Good luck Ade. It would be nice to see a decent forward come through our youth system. He looks a very promising prospect from what I've seen of him.
  • Played the last 15 as sub today.

"Booking for Adebayo Azeez for unsporting behaviour", as the Beeb put it.

    The lad is learning fast!

subbed tonight in the 25th minute, because of the sending off I'm guessing. Shame for the lad

Maybe not actually a striker came on for him

    Johnny's Pisspot Trophy - Yeovil v Wycombe:

    Yeah, Matt Spring sent off.

Azeez withdrawn and a midfielder brought on.
  • Looks like the substitution happened before the sending off.
  • he went off before Spring got sent off and a forward came on for him. Injured is my guess
  • Spot on, Mike - Azzz subbed 2 mins before Spring's red card.

Can we still blame Spring anyway? must have been a poor pass which lead to the injury.

We can ALWAYS blame Spring. We do need a scapegoat, and he's not even at the club any more... it's win win really.

  • He's pulled his hamstring
  • Back from injury, played the final 20 minutes in Wycombe's 1-0 win.
  • @AdeAzeez94: Great result today! Thought I scored my first goal for the club! Lino clearly didnt go specsavers

    Lol

  • Came off the bench in the 58th minute against Exeter. Lost 1-0
  • We've recalled Azeez from Wycombe and by the sounds of it he may be coming into our squad. Would be great to see him Saturday.
  • Good this boy is mustard
  • no his loan ended today
  • This all sounds very positive:

ADE Azeez has returned to Charlton Athletic after his parent club said they wanted him back.

The 18-year-old made his professional debut during an injury curtailed month long loan spell at Adams Park, making five appearances in total.

Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth wanted to keep him but Charlton have said they want him back.

Ainsworth said: "We've had conversations with Charlton and they are keen to get him back. They believe he's high up on their agenda.

"Ade has been a superb professional. He's done brilliantly for us in the short time he's been ours. I'm just upset for him he missed a couple of weeks because of his injury.

"The attitude he's got, I can see Ade Azeez going on to big things in the game. It was a pleasure to have him and to give him his first minutes in professional football. He's definitely a name to remember."

Azeez tweeted on Wednesday: "Would just like to say thank you to all the Wycombe fans for their support whilst I was at the club, you've been excellent. I would also like to thank Gareth Ainsworth for giving me my professional debut."
  • With Hulse gone, BWP going and Haynes' hamstring still playing up it make total sense to have him back.

  • Good news - stick him in the squad for the Cup game - he sounds like he's ready and should be reasonably match fit.
  • Can't wait to see this guy in action.
  • If he doesn't score at least two in his first game can I be the first to say "underwhelmed".
  • Might we see him on Saturday?
  • Didn't know he was back when I posted comment on the "where we will finish" thread about players coming through from the academy. Ade was definitely the first name I was thinking of. Great to see Ainsworth's comments there & also the very mature response from Ade. Don't want to heap the pressure on him, but really looking forward to seeing him in the 1st team.
  • Nearly got on against Cardiff before we started mucking about at the end. Look forward to seeing him make his debut.
  • We should remember to be very patient but hopefully he can go far, playing in the football league at such a young age. I hope another golden age of youngsters coming through is upon us.
  • How long should Azeez get before we can make a judgement - I'm prepared to give him at least 15 minutes before dismissing him as overrated.

Unless he can improve every position of our midfield single handedly, hold up the ball better than Hulse and teach Bradley Pritchard how to play "technical football" then I'm afraid he's better off at Wycombe.
  • Some of our muppet fans wouldn't want him even if he could walk on water, eat bullets and shit ice cream.
