  • EDIT - I am changing prediction after seeing the weather forecast.

    Match postponed or abandoned.

BBC forecast has extremely heavy rain all day on Saturday - with flooding. The pitch will already be sodden and I cant see the gaem getting played through 90 mins if it has been teeming down all day - similar to the NYD game in c2002/03.
  • 4 nil Hudders
  • 3-1 and we finally end their 100 year unbeaten run.

NOOOOO ! Why does this sort of thing happen when we're on a roll ????

  • Surely they have/will have put some covering down ?

Can they not cover the pitch in the morning before kick off? I think it is supposed to die down about kick off time.

    Sorry - point already made
  • conditions look like being bad, 1-1 draw after Charlton lose frimpong to a red card
  • Huddersfield to remind us why we are 14th and they are 8th, only recently dropping out of playoff places, while we have only just risen from relegation fodder places. 1 or 2 nil to them as our sloppy-at-home form continues and the ref isn't on our side. Much shoulder shrugging and "lets move on and get Peterborough" ensues.

Huddersfield are today only 4 points ahead of us.

A win for Charlton tomorrow would leave us just 1 point behind them.

Not technically - I think you have to win by 5 goals to officially end it.

  • I would really like to see a win at home and normally we are quite good against the 'udders at the Valley. But I just have doubts that our run will carry on. A draw would be ok but I fancy us to slip up 1-0 to them.

I reckon it will be a 1-1 draw.

    Same Line-Up as last week:

Stephens didnt play last week, you mean the week before. I agree although I would like to see Frimpong start as we dont have him for very long
  • Frimpong will start, and I think poor Pritch likely loser for the middle places. Frimps to be the enforcer aloowing Jacko and Stephens to bomb on

same home result as last season, 2-0

Very hard to drop Pritchard at the moment in my opinion.

    Bench for dench I think!
  • 3-3

Hulse, Haynes, Pritchard (in that order).

Yes sorry week before....would love to see Frimpong but just can't see Powell putting him straight in the side.
  • 2 - 0 Charlton
  • If it goes ahead I can see us getting something here - we're on a roll. Especially if us fans keep up the noise.

I can't see any of Frimpong, Stevo or Jacko playing wide right so I think Pritch will start. The question is whether he will play Frimpong from the start and, if so, in place of Stevo, or Jacko? To play all of them would mean reverting to 4-5-1 with Haynes wide right and Hulse up front - but I think he will stick with 4-4-2 at home.

  • Jacko on bench, Drench to start mid-left.

    Nailed-on POSSIBILITY

Udders field will continue their 5 year unbeaten run. Unstoppable. ;0)

they can stick their record up their a*se! love it!

for me, last seasons game was THE one that showed what we could do..............simply loved it at the end !!

    same again this season 2-0

I agree, but I just can't see Frimpong coming to sit on the bench, he is a Prem player that needs to get fit, and as some have said he's not here for long. Jacko won't be dropped he's Captain, so it will be either Pritch or Stephens getting the axe, as Haynes can play wide right if 4-5-1 - remember SCP wasn't scared of dropping Hughes for Russell in the same fixture last season when we had won 5 in a row..and we won 2-0 with Russell playing a great first half before injury at half-time. Hughes came on second half and his distribution was terrible, luckily it was already 2-0
  • routine win. In form team, Haynes scoring freely with the genuine quality of fuller and Frimpong being added. 2 0 CAFC. Hudders not bad, but not great on the road.
  • Am missing today. A hard fought 1-1 I think.

Am hoping millwall win in a way, so they'll be more so due a loss next week rather than fighting back for some points.

Dropping Pritch or Kerka for Frimpong would unbalance the side as I do not see any of the others playing wide. For me it would have to be Stevens or Jackson that give way with my vote going to Stevens to play and Jackson dropping to bench.

I actually think he will start Frimpong to start on the bench and come on with 20 mins to go, and if he plays well, to maybe start Tues.

I have a feeling that Wenger only let him come here if he plays and I would bet that they are still paying most if not all his wages. He needs to find out if he is fit enough to play Prem football again and if he will be given a new contract or allowed to leave. If this is true it would be good for us as he will be totally commited.

  • 1-0 as we've never lost or drawn when I bring my daughter.

Tough game but Haynes' pace should prove the difference coupled with some Fuller class.

They have a point to prove though and want to reverse last seasons defeat. Hard fought battle of attrition

This ain't going to happen, has been influential recently on our 3 game unbeaten run, but thats your opinion. Frimps will start
