when you remember car adverts that showed you a cars style and performance, nowadays you just get similar looking bland boxes, displaying various bits of tech and their range.

    Valley express from Larkfield? 😉
  • Just phoned Sky for the usual jousting exercise.

Got the usual bollox about being a valued Diamond customer and was then told by young Syad that my contract was quite a bit older than him.  Cheeky sod!  :)

When someone says “ I started my first proper job 10 years ago yesterday”

When I know at 57 I retired from my last proper paid job 10 years ago last month!

Now having completed over 12 years as a volunteer in school and 15 years of Therapy dog work I’m dreading what I’ll do when I really pack up work 🤷‍♂️

Start to feel really old then…..would be my guess…………

    A two day hangover.
This is the bane of my life and means things I used to look forward to I now dread,

People that generally don’t really suffer from hangovers don't appreciate that they are some form of chosen ones

A good routine can combat all except the very worst hangovers. 2 pints of water a berocca and a strong anti-histamine before bed. Rehydration sachet, coffee and more water with a nice carby greasy breakfast and you'll be fine other than a bit of tiredness.

I never felt bad after having vaccinations when I was younger!
But I had my flu and Covid shot yesterday and I crawled into bed, fell asleep at 7.30pm and woke up this morning at 7.30am with two sore arms and still feel tired.
