  • oh turn it in
  • better not be!
  • Get a train to Deptford and walk, it`s only 15 mins!
  • im just gonna bounce from bexleyheath
  • Oh well, its not that far to walk it from mine, might even hop on the bus some of the way, the 1 from Canada Water goes near there
  • be interesting to see where the OB shepheard us too after the game this year then. cant all get on buses.
  • Or train to new cross or 321 bus? Does 321 still go there. Having said that, the replacement bus will be a laugh.
  • Fun bus
  • Was planning on jumping on the train straight from Beckenham to South Bermondsey but that's showing a bus replacement too. But it is also suggesting going to London Bridge and getting a train back to South Bermondsey from there so I'm not sure what to believe!
  • they are trying to disuade us from going - they know there will be 10k of us there after last night

  • walk from Surrey Quays or Canada Water
  • lets all meet up at new cross station and walk up the old kent road to the ground - it will be safer in numbers. (JOKE!)
  • This is abysmal for a train thread on this forum. 12 comments in and not one person has come up with viable alternative timetable on at least three different lines.

    Disgusted of New Eltham.

321 goes to New Cross Gate, you could probably walk from there.

Seriously though, who checks the trains for millwall away?!

    Planning your Journey

  • I found out about this from a fellow fan and thought it worth passing on. I wouldn't be best pleased to arrive at London Bridge at 2pm on match day to find only buses going to the ground - or perhaps some will still be in the pub and oblivious to 'how to get there'.....
  • I'll just be getting on the bus :(
  • Good. If it means we don't get penned in for an hour after then no complaints from me.

  • Passengers travelling to the Millwall versus Charlton Athletic football fixture are advised to use alternative routes

That's as useful as a chocolate fire guard? Do they actually have any suggestions as to these alternative routes, as they seem to have most bases covered as far as f**king up your journey from any point of the compass goes...

  • Think it's a bit of a joke tbh, especially seeing how the old bill love sending us straight from the train station.
  • Use the helipad.
  • I heard that the walkway from the station to the ground at Millwall is closed this month at some point but dont know how long for. If there is no trains that day then it must mean that its on going engineering works. Heard thats its closed for when they play Leeds in a few weeks!
  • They said it was going to be closed when we played them last time.

    Ooooooooohhhhh ssscccaaaarrrrrryyyyy miiiiiilllllwwwwaaaallllll
  • Do they take bikes on the bus replacement service?
  • We'll be kept inside the ground this time
  • So is south bermondsey closed that day ?
  • Just walk from London Bridge?

I walked from Canada Water last time and it didn't take that long at all.
  • New cross is about ten mins walk
