  • Hamer - 6 - 8 goals in two games, not good. Been great so he'll come good again.
Morrison - 7 - Played well, but found himself coming inside too often.
Cort - 7 - Better than Saturday, but beaten twice for two goals in injury time.
Dervite - 7 - Beaten in the air a fair bit, Cardiff's 4th goal being an example, solid though.
Solly - 7.5 - a couple of nervy moments when chasing long balls, but made some great passes especially for the 4th goal.
Haynes - 8 - Pace, worried Cardiff all night, bad tackle injured him though.
Pritchard - 8.5 - up and down all game tackled and passed, if he had some more pace he'd be a superb player.
Stephens - 8.5 - MOM. That's how I expect Stephens to play, up and down, hassled, tackled and moved the ball with pace, bonus goal with good set pieces.
Jackson - 8.5 - Brilliant, tackled, hassled, great positioning, two goals. Bloke behind me said 'What does Jackson do for this team' This performance answered that!
Kerkar - 8 - Two assists from two great crosses, still looks ungainly on the ball, but worked well on the wing.
Hulse - 8 - hassled and ran all game, caused Hudson (who looked ok to me) loads of trouble and a goal.

Wright Phillips - cam on and hassled well, unlucky with some manhandling of him by Cardiff defenders, another half chance, he needs a goal.
Hollands - no time to make an impression, but the sub unsettled us.

Powell - much better, saw the 4-5-1 was not working and pressed Haynes onto the Cardiff back four, 4-4-2 won the day.

6 minutes of injury time??????? (he played 8.25 mins!!!)
  • Hamer - 5

    Haynes - 8
    Pritchard - 8
    Stephens - 8
    Jackson - 8
    Kerkar - 7
    Hulse - 8

Ref - 1 (6 minutes added time - my arse!)
  • Hamer - 5.5 - flapping all over the place. couple of good blocks
Morrison - 6.0 - out of position, played OK
    Cort - 6.0
    Devite - 6.0
Solly - 6.0 - left holes for their RW. can't really blame him - being played out of position. still showed good composure going forward
Haynes - 8.0 - his pace scared the hell of them
Pritchard - 8.5 - MOM - didn't give up. provided energy for us in 1st half. great cross back for Haynes' goal
Stephens - 8.0 - made a few mistakes but made up for it with some great balls exploiting their gaps
Jackson - 8.5 - everyone was getting on his back when we were losing. still knows how to finish. feel sorry for him after he was such an important player. without him tonight we would have lost
Kerkar - 7.5 - great crossing. couple of times lost it in own half but looks a great winger
Hulse - 8.0 - ran his socks off. great to see him get a goal with his head after those misses in the Leeds game
  • Hamer - 6
Morrison - 5 out of position kept coming in and they exploited it well, could have been 4-0 down at half-time
Cort - 6 started poorly lost everything but picked up with rest of the team
    Devite - 6 Solid
Solly - 6 Looked a bit dodgy at times but quality for most of the game
Haynes - 8 Hudson & Turner were sh**ing themselves everytime he got the ball
    Pritchard - 9 Brilliant performance
Stephens - 7 Solid game looks a quality player,
Jackson - 8.5 Worked hard all night showed why he is captain and that guts are crucial, great goals
Kerkar - 8 Put some fantastic balls in the box, liking him more and more
Hulse - 8.5 Ran his nuts off, caused havoc for the first goal
  • Hamer 6 - Not a fault for 2nd goal only IMO. But let down by defence. Worrying for back 5 to leak 8 goals in 2 games.
Morrison 6 - Not a right back and drifted inside too much.
Cort 6 - Looked like he missed Morrison alongside him in the middle.
Devite 6 - I thought he did ok, but think Cort plays better with Morrison.
Solly 7 - Getting so much better with his left foot and linked up well with Kerkar. Needs to be right back though
Haynes 8 - His pace is so dangerous. LIke having a new player. Hope he stays fit
Pritchard 7.5 - Best game out wide for us. Still not a winger but looked composed and passed well.
Stephens 8.5 - MOM just ahead of Haynes. Best game for ages.
Jackson 7.5 - Also best game for ages. Well positioned especially in second half. Great goals.
Kerkar 7.5 - Great assists. Makes me nervous at times, but he all of sudden pulls a nice trick out the bag.
Hulse 8 - A nuisance for Cardiff throughout. Deserved goal. Linked really well with Haynes.

BWP - For someone who wasn't on long he looked tired to me. Looks to be lacking confidence. Agreed he needs a goal
Hollands - No time to do anything.

  • Hamer 6 Flapped quite a bit, made a couple of decent save as well.
Morrison 5 looked awful at right back, not his fault
    Cort 5 Shakey
Devite 5 Should never have let there player get in front of him for their first
Solly 8 Love the lad, he gets better and better every time I see him
Haynes 7 Pace unsettled them in the second half, good goal shame his made of tracing paper.
Pritchard 7 worked his socks off second half
Stephens 8 Still hit and miss, but when on form he was brilliant. cracking goal
Jackson 7 Took his goals well
Kerkar 7 like Stephens very hit and miss. Typical winger
Hulse 8 not sure why he has been a bit of a whipping boy latley, I think he has been brilliant and a massive nuisance for defenders. Good goal.

  • Hamer - 5.5 - Flapped a lot but a couple of good saves
Morrison - 6 - Too narrow but did decent enough out of position
Cort - 5 - Needs Morro back in the middle with him
Devite - 6 - Looked pretty solid, a very good player to have
    Solly - 6 - Defended reasonably well
Haynes - 9 - MOM his pace scared the hell out of their defence but there is nothing you can do against pace like that
Pritchard - 8.5 - Absolutely brilliant tonight, worked so hard and put on a great performance
Stephens - 8 - His best performance all season. If he can do that consistently then he will be a good player for us this season
Jackson - 8 - two good goals, definitely a good head to have in and around the team
Kerkar - 7.5 - I really like Kerkar, thought he played well tonight with some good runs and very good crossing
Hulse - 7.5 - Held the ball up well and got himself a goal
  • I have to mark the defence down, we did let in 4 goals after all, none of which were quality strikes.

  • Hamer 6 bit flappy but made some important blocks and claims
Morrison 7 coped well against Frei
Cort 6 usual stuff from him
Devite 6.5 improved as game went on
Solly 8 master stroke by SCP to put Solly up against the excellent Noone who would have destroyed Jacko at lb
Haynes 9 I've been dying to see him this season. Not just about pace but very strong and direct. Great game
Pritchard 9 immense workrate. In their faces. Deserved a goal himself.
Stephens 7.5 best delivery since Claus Jensen maybe?
Jackson 7 nice goals but at fault for their first 2 so evened out
Kerkar 8 " life is like a box of chocolates"
Hulse 8ran his nuts off and deserved his goal

SCP - Solly against Noone a great idea. Solly won that IMO
Morro at rb - we got away with that. Morro won that one IMO
Got it right on the night albeit in unorthodox fashion

Hamer - 6 some good blocks, but flapped a bit and felt 2nd goal in particular was poor to concede
Morrison - 6 felt he drifted inside a lot, which was natural, but left him/us exposed on the right a few too many times
Cort - 6.5 fairly steady and better than last couple of games. Pleased he's getting back on track. Has been superb for most games
Devite - 6 held his own, nothing spectacular & got bullied a few times, but impressed with him
Solly - 6.5 out of position again, caught a few times, but overall a good game
Haynes - 8 worried the hell out of Cardiff. Pace and direct running was superb, hope that was just a precautionary substitution.
Pritchard - 7.5 great work again, loved the header back across the box. Someone mentioned getting on the weights above...agree with that and should have been subbed instead of Stephens at the end. He was out on his feet at that stage.
Stephens - 9 MOM great game, controlled the middle and made great use of the ball as well as winning majority of his tackles. Some superb passes and the goal was brilliant, even though he admits it was a cross :)
Jackson - 8 two well taken goals, the second superb. Felt he was being bullied a little before first goal, but came back into it, visibly grew in confidence and battled well
Kerkar - 7 still not sure. Like Pritch, very little pace and tries to get most crosses over, around the defender, rather than beating him. Can't fault for sticking at it & effort he put in.
Hulse -8 led line really well again, tireless work and took goal so well. Really pleased for him

Wright Phillips n/a - 6 got stuck in straight away and hassled defenders well. Needs a goal, would be delighted for him if it comes as soon as possible
Hollands n/a - no time to make a mark, but very pleased he is an option to bring on.
