The winning goal was just absolutely outrageous. An amazing back heel lob.

Yep, but do wonder if it would have got through if their c/h wasn't being pinned to the floor by the guys legs though.

Thought MK Dons player stopped Wimbledon player getting up just prior to goal. Should have been a free kick as if he did get up, he had a chance of ball hitting him.

Agreed Mutts...Lewington has a bit of a habit of being a little over-enthusiastic. Hard on AFC. Would say they deserved a draw, but saves them having to put up with Milton Keynes polluting their ground. If I hadn't already thought little enough of them beforehand, the chorus of "no one likes us" certainly sealed it!

Cue an on-line petition from AFC that all 'TRUE' football fans should sign as it was clearly an 'unfair' goal... players are not allowed to back-heel the ball against AFC, these players had clearly not read the AFC rule book, and its all part of the conspiracy stopping AFC from claiming their true rightful position as Champions league winners...

Bunch of fking tssrs... they've had their five minutes of fame, now lets hope they can crawl back under whatever rock they came out from....

Unfortunately for you, they're the most respected club to have ever come through the non-league system in the eyes of those who support clubs in the top four divisions. They have a bright future.

My observation would have been the same- whatever side it affected - Lewington wrapped his leg round the Wimbledon player which prevented him getting up. They were in the centr eof th earea and whilst the player standing would probably not have stopped the goal, he may have done. It was a foul and I was amazed that the TV didn't even notice it!

I thought Mambo displayed a turn of speed on a couple of occasions, although not Haynes type quick. Looked leaner also, but still a big unit. Comfortable at that level.

Not at all... the AFC bandwagon was unfortunately hi-jacked by a moronic bunch of twts.... a friend of ours 'Trev-womble' helped set up the club, organised the sessions for picking players and did a lot of hard-work to get the club up and running. However since then, fan wise they have attracted a lot of Danny Dyer wannabees.. the club has also somehow disappeared up its own bside and believed that they had some sort of god-given right to be an established League club. Their attittude to the whole lower league set-up, its clubs and fans showed a level of arrogance that probably destroyed any good-will that could ever be shown them (

yeah but how tough did we look when our fans kicked off in the home end and got paraded back round to the away end........ just before wimbledon always seemed to score !

Men against boys. MK by far the better team and deserved the win. Mambo defended well, but his distribution is shocking.

I understand the complex arguments about whether to boycott the game and in their shoes I would probably have been a no-show. But I understand there was a general view that those attending should not hand MKD any additional revenue, but it appears AFC fans spent £20k on refreshments in the stadium. Surely most people could go 2 hours with a a pie, pint or cup of tea?
