Palace away following

  • Well there's a reason why nobody is talking about the football. I may be only speaking for myself here, but I really don't care how good or bad we play on the day as long as we beat them. All I care about Friday is the result, not player ratings, not formations.
  • who would have thought a thread about 'palace away following' would be talking about how many they will bring

no not bored of it but i'm not interested in 'Local skip hire' 'labradors, german shepherds & dogs' or any of the music threads

amazingly i don't open these threads or if i do i skim read and don't bother commenting on it cos i find it a bit boring

seriously bournemouth give it a go , it can't be difficult if i can do it

Fair point Ooaah I should have posted it on one of the several other threads running on the subject of who we dislike the most at the moment but this one happened to be at the top.

The sweet irony of Ooaah complaining about someone taking a thread off subject...the man who can shoehorn an attendance figure into a 'would ya'

    ;-)

    Yuck
  • i have an addicktion bournemouth ....i'm trying to wean myself off it but i am struggling with all these threads popping up ;-)
  • I was going to say I don't give a shit how many they bring, but on second thoughts, I hope they sell-out the JS stand. More pennies in the pot for the club................................
  • Palace have sold just over 2,500. So it looks as if they may get close to 3,000, but probably not make the maximum of 3,400. It's a good turn-out for a Sky game, in my opinion.
  • 3,400?

Will we be given that this year then rather than the 3,000 last time?
  • Sure you had the full 3.4k plus a few extras in that stand.

Lol, it looked nearer 4k from where I was sitting, you could not see any of the walk ways.
  • 2,500 is good going so far

Officially we were given 3,000 according to the Millwall stat site (an anoraks paradise).

Didn't a lot of yours push a steward out the way and rush a gate, I thought a lot of ticketless fans got in on that day?

3,294 millwall officially sold for their end
  • that same season leeds took 3,414 and norwich 3,394 gillingham 3,030 we had 2,966 at the den

on palaces last visit they brought 3,325 we took 2,648 to selhurst
  • Comparing us with Leeds is poor from you. Must do better.

Interesting. Being the worst team in the League must have played a part in that.
  • sorry my wording wasn't clear

this is what they brought /tooken to the valley

Sorry, but he's drawing me in to his magical world of numbers and comparisons.
It's like those 'Okay, so I do a bit of heroin from time to time. I can handle it' ads from the 80s.

Where's that from? Only ever seen we were given 3,000 & sold them.
  • From his own little database
  • Yet another thread hijacked by spotty.

Who give's a **** about your away allocation? You aren't even playing us until 16th March.

You seem a bit excited considering how this fixture is so inferior for the mighty lions?!

We only gave your club 3,000 to sell, but we also sold some tickets in the away end from The Valley to avoid our people buying for their Millwall mates in home areas.

Cheers Airman. I'll butt back out now.

  • I'm not even arsed by Palace. They are a nothing club. I dislike Millwall far more.
  • Is any one else as bored with all these 'our support is bigger than their support', 'how many will they bring', 'you're not our rivals, they are...' bulls### threads? All a bit school playground isn't it.

It's a game of football for crivens sake why not focus on that? I've not seen one football related post yet.

The way some people are getting their knickers in a twist over it is a little bit embarrassing imo. We haven't even had any visitors from Palace yet, this place is going to go into meltdown when that happens...

I think a lot of fans have some sort of interest/curiosity in numbers that clubs take away from home
  • We are no different from the MASSIVE it would seem.
  • We only took 2,648 to Selhurst? Is that the maximum or didn't we sell out? Thought we sold all ours.
