  • You could walk from the ground to new st in 25 mins top, which providing you aren't kept in will be fine. Bordsley station is about10 minute walk from the ground, and whilst the journey into moor street is only a few minutes, you've got to take into consideration waiting for the train, then the 5 minute walk from moor st to new st...you'll be better off walking

    Best of luck!

Sitting? Allocated seats? Lolol, tomorrow is gonna be fun then. Me and my mates aren't sitting and we'll go wherever the noise is.
That's the attitude, I don't wanna SIDAARRRN at this game - but then im one of those loud H Block lads at the top! I wanna be belting out a few songs; hell on Tuesday I ended up coming away with a voice that sounded double my age and as if I smoked 20 Marlboro Red each day!

I've never heard of having away fans below home fans though, should be an experience really. Will be interesting to see how its done.

I'm well up for this one though, let's crack on with the new season! Just need to pop out and get immodium, woken up at 5:30 and got a severe case of the Dehli Belly!
  • They used to put away fans below home supporters at Stamford bridge, I think they've move them now though.
  • I think there are a few grounds where away fans sit below home fans, off the top of my head Villa and Wolves - maybe its a midlands thing ! It's a bit strange though.
  • Done it at west ham for years now too, and they haven't had any major reasons to change it.

Shef Utd, Notts Forrest. They have nets now to try to catch things!

They put them in the corner of the shed end now, upper and lower tier

Very nice welcome at Brmngham, steward shaking hands with the men an kissing te ladies. Nicest welcome I have had at a game
  • Birmingham fans did £3,500-worth of damage to Barnet's coaches on Tuesday, according to their chairman. The game was police-free. From what we can gather there was due to have been a similarly minimal policing operation yesterday and given our own previous experience there we as a club had considerable concerns about the safety of our supporters and coaches. However, we spoke extensively with the Met towards the end of the week and eventually the situation changed. The arrangements in the end were perfectly adequate and there appeared to be no problems, so well done and thanks to those responsible.

  • The walk from the ground to station was fine but I think that's mainly due to our conceding of the last minute equaliser

No way near enough Old bill between ground and station IMO and If anything had happened it would not have been easy to defend

You walk past some proper boozers with their boys in it and their youth lot was spotted at least twice on the route back

Anyone who thinks that had we taken all 3 points that there was significant segregation is way off point

From the minute you got to the bottom of the hill out of the ground it was pretty much up to you to stick in numbers keep your witts about u and do what you need to get back
  • Couldn't believe how quiet it was. They have a reputation to really lift the roof and I've been st Andrews before where the did just that. I expected it to be very loud, intimidating and hostile but didnt feel any of that. Felt safe walking into the ground, felt safe leaving it amongst all of there fans.

    I can't believe I just read that.

If somebody told me there would be crowd trouble at Birmingham vs Barnet in the Carling Cup 1st Round I would laught at them, but it seems there are no depths to which some people won't sink.

Surely Birmingham should face severe punishment for failing to control their fans and should pay compensation for the damage caused? Poor Barnet are absolutely potless.
  • Believe it or not ormiston Barnet have a following themselves and did call it on prior to the game On forums

Not justifying anything or even trying to make it ok

But they were not entirely blameless

The club it's self I agree should be held accountable for not seeing the big picture
