  • Considering out home gates we should be getting at least 1500-2k for most away games this season but it's highly unlikely, would be great if it did

    Yes, but what should we be getting considering our historic away numbers?

  • And what about the fact that as soon as we take a good away turnout people start whining about;

    a) the sit down/stand up debate - on both sides;
    b) the fact they struggle to get tickets;
    c) the fact that not everyone sings/people swear too much; and
    d) people get accused of being "glory boys" (at Charlton FFS?)

    It seems to me that we just can't win.
  • considering we have 11,000 season ticket holders, having 10% of that go away ie averaging 1,100 is the norm in my opinion and achievable
  • Got forest ticket and getting Ipswich on Wednesday. Looking forward to a couple of away days!
  • Ipswich should be boycotted at those prices!
  • not going to ipswich on principle.

    Do what I am doing, go in the Ipswich end, I believe it is under £30 behind the goal lower tier. Not ideal but at least you get to go to the game

    i did consider that but i just don't want to give them any money.
  • Getting my Ipswich tickets on Weds. I don't think £34 is that outrageous and it's only £12 for kids, or there's a family ticket that looks cheaper. Wouldn't want to pay it every week, but it's hardly worth a boycott. If you would normally expect to spend £75-100 on an away game, an extra £10 isn't the end of the world.

    That's fair enough, would never argue against principle. In this league anything above £30 ensures I put my bottom in a seat used by the home fans.

    I've only ever once sat in home end to watch us, which was at Blackburn in the 80's i believe, but we went with season ticket holders and had a freebie. Having done it, i can say that i'd rather have paid. My dads hand came firmly down on my shoulder when we scored!

    We were all a bit spoilt last season with £20-£24 being the norm, but this league is better (supposedly) so people pay more for watch. i've got my Forest tickets and cant wait for first game this season. Hoping it wont be a repeat of the 4-0 in the rain, which some here will also remember, singing 'we're all wet', 'your not, your not.'

    And hopefully it will not be like the 5-2 mauling we got in '97

    I think most have sat with home fans while away and i pesonally would rather watch soccer saturday. i hate sitting with other fans when they score against us. its horrible. but fair play to anyone who can suffer that to watch the game.

    Hold fire on that CLB74, tickets do not come on sale until apprx 13 weeks before game. The price should be something around £31, like Blackpool. Will let CL know when price becomes available
  • £79 elfs at mo
  • Do not worry, it will be about £31 return cheapest unless you have railcards to discount it further
  • ok elfs if its £31same as blackpool will see ifme boy wants to come will bring it down to £20 odd with f &f card

    I am only summising here, am certain will be the case. Do not want you complaining about a kicking and screaming boy if the price stops pappa from putting his hand in his pocket!
  • middle names "moaner" elfs
    holding you to £31 and will expect you to make up the difference if not

  • Burnley has not gone on sale as yet, hopefully in the next two weeks. Blackpool went on sale about four weeks ago
  • Any idea when the tickets go on sale? Presumably they'll go straight on general?
  • Absolute guarantee we will not sell out, they give the whole end
  • burnley train all booked elfs 2 adults 1 kid £46.90
  • for the bristol train on Sunday 11th November, ive looked at going to Bristol temple meads, the train gets there at 2. wondering if anyone has any idea how far the station is from the ground?

    The nearest railway station is Parson Street which is around a ten minute walk away from the ground. However few trains stop at this station so you are more likely to end up at Bristol Temple Meads mainline station instead. This station is at least two miles from the ground and hence too far to walk, so best to jump in a taxi (around £6).
