watched a Netflix documentary last night called 'Abducted in Plain Sight'
recommended to my missus by someone at work, so I thought why not and we watched it - only 90 mins long.......you literally couldn't have made it up if you tried
anyone seen it?
The parents (as they are now) seemed reasonably sensible.
I'm dumbfounded how they were so idiotic time and time and time again.

I was binging the other week but only just got internet at the new place, i dont really want to give the plot away but anyone who likes 13 reasons why will enjoy it IMO
The wife loves it though so I'm stuck with it once a week, she loves garbage lile this, but won't watch The Wire cos its 'old' MADNESS.1 -
Completed season 3 of Narcos tonight. Not as good as the first two but still enjoyable.

AddicksAddict said:The Punisher, Season 2, Episode 1. Very violent, sets up what I presume will be the story for the season. Jon Bernthal is does a nice line in monosyllabic. Thoroughly enjoyable, but did I mention it's very violent.

Apologies if mentioned before but I've just watched the first series of The Last Kingdom and every time I see Ubba I thought Simon Jordan. Very off putting but great acting and loving it.
Not seen Vikings yet, how do they compare?1 - Sponsored links:

Not seen Vikings yet, how do they compare?I think Vikings has lost it's way, while TLK really found it's stride last season.1 -

Forgot about the new season of TLK need dig into that.1 -
The Last Kingdom season 1 and 2 were ok but they were made on a BBC budget and it showed. Season 3 was far better for the Netflix cash injection. I still prefer Vikings but it's not the same since the snake pit scene.2

Thanks. I'll give Vikings a go after TLK.0

pretty sure this was mentioned a while ago on the thread- just binge watched Maniac, it's a gloriously weird series that reminded me a lot of Brazil. highly recommended1 -

Thats why i think it's a good idea to base it a year after those events, to keep the production German (though Sky have produced it) and to have two major plots. (slight spoiler though you find this out in the first episode) one part of the plot is about a new sub crew and the other plot line is about the French resistance.
problem so far is that the characters are a bit wooden. still i'll keep with it and say what i think of it at a later date.

It seems ok so far, I have never seen the film but I like the fact we can watch from the perspective of German sailors and I picked up the French ok to distinguish a different set of characters were in play.
White Gold is returning soon and Game of Thrones is now closer than my next holiday which excites me. I just hope George RR Martin manages to live long enough to finish and publish the books0 -
For sci fi fans The Expanse on Amazon is well worth a go. Is on season 3 and has been renewed for a 4th.2

Catastrophe........loved this comedy. Not sure about the ending tonight. Did they drown?0

It won’t win any awards, but there is something agreeable to me about Living The Dream. Find it very silly but a comfortable watch, helped by some excellent lead characters.0

Enjoyed the first episode of the new Endeavour series6
