Great day like others have said its made all the sweater for having sat through some of the bad times in recent years. It really looks like we can see the 'Post Curbs-Pre Powell' era as some strange aberation. Yanns goal reminded me of something only Ibrahimovic could do, thought he had no chance of keeping it in let alone scoring. Loved all the build up thought the lap of honour was a bit chaotic but never mind cos Chris Powells speech was another one of those special Charlton moments. Heres to next season.

Don't mention "sweaters" this time of night, Henry will be drinking his Horlicks now and we don't want him getting excited :-)
I love kermorgant. The guy has become a charlton hero in my eyes. If he has a class finisher along side him next season he will look even better in my opinion, if that's even possible.
I found it hilarious when some guy asked me to stand up on 87 mins so he could miss the traffic!! And then he got angry when I didn't get up quick enough!! Honestly it defies any logic or belief!! But who cares .... CHAMPIONEEEEEEEEEEEE
What a cracking day, just back in, thanks for the beer in the Lib Henry, it was heaving! Red Devils were quality, so were the smurfs, first half a little flat but Bradley P changed the game and Yanns goal was magnificent whether he meant it or not. SCP will have a stand named after him one day FACT, the change in the last 15 months has been fantastic I cant wait for the future, also kissed goodbye to my awful corner flag view in the family quad, I have promoted myself to the East Stand, back row half way line, next season is going to be great, very proud of my club today...
Danny Haynes my MOTM, i've never seen a sub this season as determined as him.. and so relieved to score when he did. He's got speed and he uses it with his energy.
Also thought it wasn't Kerms best game, yet he still scores and knocked down some balls that the best in the Prem would be proud of. May be as we're at a lower level of football, but he's god
Strange experience having lunch in the casino/London Gaming Club in the West Stand before the match as we were too late booking for the Greenwich Suite. Handed a wad of dummy money to exchange for chips at the roulette and poker tables to give the trainee croupiers some work practice. Good to see a new (red) carpet being laid across the Player's Entrance that reads "Charlton Athletic - Division One Champions 2011-2012". We didn't have to win, but it certainly made it taste a lot better when we did. Fantastic day.
Post match view from the not very sober. This game sums up our club and why we go every week. First half we were sussed out by a very well set up Hartlepool side in which we had plenty of chances to go in front and went in at half time a goal down. Second half we came out with a rocket up our backsides and then we are 3-1 up. Holland's equaliser was pure class from a corner, then a Taylor overhead kick sets up Haynes for a brilliant headed goal into the same spot the Holland's had just buried his equaliser. Up steps Kermorgant, with a goal that he may not have meant to score but to actually get a boot on and keep in play would have been impressive, scores with the cheekiest goal I have ever seen. I have to admit a touch man love for Yann when he took the time out with the fans and I got the chance to shake his hand. All in all a special day from start to finish well done to Charlton and all who her sail her!
What a difference a year makes, was it only 12 months ago we watched the 0-0 draw with today's oppos and wondered to ourselves whether our club could sink any lower? Thank you to the board, SCP and the players for this last season and giving us back the pride we share in our team. Great day all round and a warm up maybe for next seasons celebrations?
Great that the all the backroom staff got a chance to share in the limelight today, good on yer Charlton!
In the Carling Cup vs Preston Powell brought Morrison on to defend a corner and we conceded. As for the game they scored against the run of play and I thought we'd struggle to get back into it. Neither side looked like scoring many but when we got one who knew we'd score another and Kerms goal was a brilliant way to end a brilliant season.
Great day, brilliant seeing Powell running along and celebrating Haynes goal. Only negative was Solly's chance at the end didn't go in.
What a great day. Sat in the South for the first time for many years. Queued up for a burger for ages whilst Red Devils made their entrance.
First half a little flat although we had enough chances to be leading.
Second half started similarly then burst into life. Both Hollands' and Haynes goals were good. Yann the Man, what a finish to end the season with!
The post match presentations were great and Chris' speech - lump in throat time.
Visiting my mate in Cranbrook after the game, I got a train back from London Bridge to Staplehurst. The lady ticket collector said that her son had been to the game with his school - it was his first game and he loved it. I asked her if he got a program - and she said no - he didn't have enough money. I gave her mine to give to him - it just seemed the right thing to do.
A hugely enjoyable day which will live long in the memory, seeing the Valley full again, an enjoyable game in which Hartlepool played their part , getting over the 100 point mark and the celebrations at the end. 2 excellent substitutions as well from CP bringing on Haynes & Pitchard which changed the game. A great end to a great season
So good to see the stadium full again and the noise level/roar as we picked the ball up ,soon after the first goal went in, reminded me of the hunger and enthusiasm the crowd used to have when we were playing at the highest level Yann has been the stand out player in a stand out season for me and as he stretched to hook that back I thought his groin or hamstring would go ..... Great day red devils , singers etc but to see/hear rufus, curbs and SCP all in one day was a little bit too much for me and well worth departing a stag do early to get too Being there with friends , family and my eldest son made it even more of a special occassion to me
Next season with a worse case scenario of what I expect to happen movement wise with transfers 1% automatics 5% play offs 30% 7th-12th 59% 13th-21st 5% relegation Best case scenario 10%-25%-40%-25%-0% Only time will tell , in SCP we trust
Well what a day.....great to see @TCE again and @HenryIrving, The LIB was rammed and I got to meet @SethPlum and @Paddy17.....had a quick discussion about next seasons match threads as Paddy17 is off to uni in October. Then to the game, sat in NW Upper amongst complete strangers...but everyone was in party mood (including the team in first half I think!!). Singers were great - my old man would have loved it and I offered my eyes up to the sky as I'm sure he would have been singing along, Red Devils awesome, Covered end in great voice, Smurfs played their part.....as for the game.....first half a non-event, second half was I guess a reaction to a few words that CP had with them at half time, 3 excellent goals.......the trophy presentation was something I had never seen in in 50 years of following this club....and to say I was a little emotional would be right....CP's speech was the icing on the cake which was followed by "We've got our Charlton back" sung by everyone!!! Thanks to all who said hello in the Lib, thanks to the squad for letting me see my team collect silverware for the first time 'live', thanks to the new owners for rescuing our club and to Richard Murray for keeping it afloat almost single handily for the last few years, but special thanks to CP who has given us a squad/team that doesn't give up and has that old fighting spirit back again. It was one special day and to see the Valley packed was just great. Cheers and see you all next season. RM

But yes to some up my views it would be one word.
Kermorgant.
Performance wise I though Dale Stephens stood out today and that Kermo goal, wow. Never hugged so many strangers in my life, what a day.
We've got our Charlton back.

Fantastic day.
Great work from those on the bench who realised a change was needed. It worked a charm.

As for the match, I though Haynes was outstanding. Kermorgant and Solly were top-notch as ever, but everyone played their part. Super, super day.
Second half substitutions were very good, Pritchard brought great energy on the pitch and I thought Danny Haynes was really good.
Great day.

We've definitely got our Charlton back.

i love opera now.
... apart from the £2 bet I had on us winning 3-2 at 25-1. Modest I know but it was the cherry on the cream on the cake!

Thought Haynes and Pritchard made all the difference.
Sorry we couldn't make the Lib but I was taken ill and we only just made the match.
