I voted for Solly as player of the season, but Yann is my favourite. But I don't love any of them as much as I love Chris Powell! Really appreciate the vid of Yann's goal, as couldn't see it properly from Lower North, but still can't work out how it went in!
Great day! Pre-match and post-match entertainment excellent. Red Devils were great, though couldn't see their plane from the Upper West. Yann's goal was the icing on the cake. I was so pleased for him as he has worked so hard this season - definitely my player of the year.
One of my best days of my life and will remember this day for a long long long When the cup went up my dad with me cryed at 71 his seen a lot at the valley Ask why it was so much he said cry for all the fam Ns that he know that have die and would have loved to see the Best team in the country win Thank you charlton for making a great year
Going to set up a dating agency after all the Lifers who introduced themselves who I then introduced around : - )
Good to meet Lord Romford, Seth Plum and Paddy 7 for the first time.
Also good to see Paul May/Reamsofverse with his partner in the Lib. Passed on my condolences regarding his dad Eddie.
Game doesn't really matter, sure we weren't 100% at it, losing Jackson meant Wagstaff was wasted on the wrong side.
Pritchard changed the game. Three very good goals. Yann's Van Basten style volley will get the pundits but. Haynes Header was a cracker and Hollands a very neat finish.
Henry jnr wanted fireworks but a great day. More next year please.
Great day , loved the red devils and the celebrations. Good game great goal from Yann would have loved Solly's shot to go in. Only thing I did not like was Dave Berry sorry but it should have been BDL's gig
Great day and good to bump into Mr and Mrs Weegie in the Covered End Upper. The match itself was almost incidental although losing, which looked distinctly possible at one stage, would have been a downer. Pleased for Haynes scoring at The Valley and as for Yann's goal not sure if he meant it but he did jolly well just to get a foot on it let alone stick it in the net!
The entertainment was enjoyable. A shame one jobsworth steward had to try and make a name for himself when the players were taking small children (probably their own) onto the pitch but, much to his disappointment probably given the mentality of his type, he didn't succeed in spoiling the day.
Enjoy the cricket season and back for next season to see what SCP has done over the summer.
i had a good laugh when the couple infront of me actually got a thermos flask out...
Ha! Don't be fooled: it might have been 90% scotch, 10% coffee like what mine was!
The sort of day that makes it all worthwhile and lets you feel good for a long time, an unforgettable day for so many reasons. Good to see the backroom staff receive appreciation of their services too: a return to the 'family club' days.
Sounded like a magical day and unfortunately could not make the game but reading this thread as at least made me feel part of the big day so now sat with a big smile and an even bigger drink :-)

Red Devils were brilliant! As were the opera singers, especially the saucy lady one!

84 year old Father of Grumpy made the trip with rest of clan. Absolutely wonderful.
Credit to Hartlepool and their fab support for playing their part too with good quality footy and high class Smurf impersonators.
