Not quite sure how you would get Callum Harriott and Ben Davisson mixed up :-) I thought Ben had been released from CAFC anyway? (I have no idea who Joey Essex is/was anyway!)
Hi all, long time reader but first time poster. just thought i'd chip in, met ben davisson in our local club, nice lad but said hes off to bournemouth in the summer. all the players seem top lads
Welcome to the site Jams, posting at that time in the morning will get you overlooked so I will say hello on behalf of CL
that is the truth. I tried to speak to him at one stage and gave up as i felt my eyes were going cross eyed as he stared down at me - how tall is he? I legged it back to my table all hot under the collar.

I feel the same when I see him on the pitch...............;-)
It was a good evening. Jordan Cousins and Dale Stephens were on our table, both of whom came across as decent blokes.
After the meal, there was the chance to move about and speak various people. I must admit, I hadn't really known what to expect from this, but the players, to both their and the club's credit, came across as approachable, chatty, relaxed and in all honesty like regular guys who just happened to good at football.
When I complemented Yann for his performance at Oldham, he very modestly said he did not know where he got the energy from. Of course the correct answer is a lot of hard work, dedicated training and determination.
I spoke to CP. For the benefit of anyone who hasn't met him, he is a genuinely nice guy.
In case anyone was worried that the players may not understand the importance of beating Millwall and Palace, don't worry this was drummed home by several supporters.
Thanks to curb it for organising. Good to meet some other lifers and also the other supporters on our table. And yes, we managed to get that train.
I know people say ding meet your heros but wheneve I've met CP he is exactly as I always hoped he was. I don't think you could meet a nicer fella and can't believe how lucky we are to have him.
A bit gutted I didn't get to go this year but looking forward to out trip to The Venue with the boys on Sunday after POTY.
I always thought you were someone else and I have at some times been rather rude to you, thinking you were this other person. Please accept my apologies for when I have done this. However you do still sometimes talk some crap.......! ;-)

Chirpy.
No that is Buckshee. If you go to page 2 of this thread & then to the 2nd photo down posted by Henry Irving. Rothko is in the blue shirt next to Andy Hughes.
You'll notice I'm in most of them, so can't claim the credit. Give that to Mr W. None of them quite match the standard of @blackheathaddick though - can you fix it for him to win a place next year?!
