Just got back from a really enjoyable evening at the Valley. Great to meet so many Lifers and the players.
Was packed out and Ravi from the Club said it was the best in his time here. Thanks to him and all the staff but biggest thank you to
@Curb_it for all the organisation and hard work. I hope the cuddle from Morrision made it all worthwhile.
Paul Hayes was great and when he found out my son's name was also Hayes he said he'd get him one of his match worn shirts from his car later. When he was leaving he reminded me and asked if I'd follow him to get the shirt which he duly handed over. Nice touch from a nice guy.
I have some photos I'll stick up later as have others. Sure there will be some other gossip too. Taylor and Morrison were really impressed that their shirts had been auctioned to help the upbeats and there will be some other really good prizes coming up as a result of tonight.
I think it's evenings like this that make Charlton Life that little bit different and special.

All the players are so young and so slim. Barstards!
Fun evening, fun thread, let's keep it that way
The only downside I heard, was that Cantona was attracting interested from the SPL, so let's give him plenty of support on Saturday and make him want to stay with us.
Be assured that we are going for 101 points too - no question about it.
Morrison... wibble. Thanks f blocker for bringing him over.
All I can reiterate is that Wagstaff is a flipping lovely young man. Great company.
We didn't get any gossip. Lots of pics and lots of happy faces.
And to nab the Captain's shirt too....what a lucky girl am I !
Thanks again to Curb_it for all her hard work in organising the sponsorships. She's a star !
Brenda followed the camera nearly as much as she stalked Morrison
Also it seems that a few of the players and family check this site quite often to see the fans view on how things are.
Most popular comment was "who are you lot slagging off this week?"
Bed time
