Andy King. Always looks decent to me, scores goals from central midfield (one of the positions we need to strengthen) and been in and out of their team this year I think.
For Yann is different here, we can meet a lot of french, not shocking, in Leicester is rarer (except for the Tigers) I saw the match against Cardiff, it was not the final but the semi final ( 2nd Leg ), difficult to say cost you promotion, but it's better to focus on a frog Martyn Waghorn hasn't done better but you forgot, not the frog and his panenka In an itw Yann said that few LCFC players wanted to shoot penalty, he was forced to take his responsibility, if he had to redo he didn't remake that panenka (!!), but above all he would let a player more confident shot in his place, and Marshall (Cardiff GK) said he had prepared, and someone showed him a video, a successful Yann panenka, you think it was a disgrace considering the importance of it, but for Yann it was normal Then there is Youtube, big wave and this famous video, well done, with a good text, and this is the internet, people are losing their own judgment It was probably a difficult step for him (and for LCFC), I am so happy to have him, Yann would be booed, and it's a good thing, he will score 2 goals or more At Leicester everyone called him Kermit, but most here call him Yann (the man) or Big Yann, the difference is huge, CP has restored confidence and his joy of playing, you will not recognize Yann Despite blows, he never gives up and fights until the end, sometimes we wonder how he can stand up
Christ, playing Leicester next season shows either how good our team need to be to compete in the champ, or the quality of player we need to bring in. Powell will know the answer to which.
But playing the likes of andy king, Bedford, konchesky and nugent should excite any potential or current players anyway!
For me Yann's been our best player. He wins almost everything in the air and despite being a marked man now, he still battles on and never gives up. I hope we can keep him next year.

Interesting writing style Buckwheat! Was that a Beat Poem? :-)

Whoever you are if you are Yann i have man ove for you if you are his pal
Tell him he is well loved and appreciated here and if we get a Pen do what you want with it but make sure you score
No, I'm Fozzie Bear! No, when the seagulls follow the trawler ...
I just try to be objective. GK Marshall was Cardiff's penalty hero, Kermorgant was the villain, cause he tried a ridiculous cheeky chip, which Marshall comfortably saved, but later Youtube has rewritten history Who knew that Waghorn had also missed his shot? LCFC fans never talk about it, why? Because he's from South Shields, because he did not make panenka, or because there was no video on Youtube? Who saw semi final 1st leg, Leicester 0-1 Cardiff? The worst match of LCFC. LCFC has been unable to beat Cardiff, who was beaten by Blackpool in the final, but according to legend Kermorgant cost promotion... Who remembers Charlie Adam goal for Blackpool, who knows that one of the best Blackpool players was DJ Campbell (LCFC, on loan)?
buckwheat it boils down to how you miss the penalty doing a fannying chip which is easily saved or smashing the ball into orbit the result is the same but in the eyes of the fans the stupid chip is a gimmick for a penalty and should not be tried at the most important of times
Jim Melrose. Played for others as well as Leicester, but my hero. Single handedly kept Charlton in the old First division many years ago. Amazing tenacity. Not my posting name for nothing. Yann in the same mould
Konchesky gave away a shocking penalty against Scumwall on the weekend, he seems to have a real nasty streak about him this season and has made some dreadful challenges.

Another good young player we have but not been in form this season. Will be interesting to see our team next year. We need to improve though and can honestly see Charlton finishing higher than us because of momentum.
Good point btw on Martyn Waghorn missing a pen. He got away with it more as he'd had a super season and didnt try and be fancy with his pen. Im pleased for Yann though, clearly a talented lad

Yeah he has had the odd moment this season where he's been rash but overall a good season
In terms of player links I try picking teams of players who played for Charlton and another team , here's my stab at Leicester :
Simon Royce , Gary Rowett , Chris Powell ,Radistan Kischiev ,Micheal Morrison ,Matt Elliott ,Keith Gillespie ,Jim Melrose ,Yann Kermogant ,Andy Peake , Len Glover Subs Tony Warner (only an unused sub for the Addicks) ,Paul Konchesky ,Shaun Newton ,Paddy Mccarthy ,Martyn Waghorn , Dany N'Guessen, Paul Kitson.
Also we have had Paul Friar , Ben Thatcher and Marcus Bent . I've probably missed someone obvious.

morrisson has been a solid defender in the third tier but i'm not as confident as most that he'll be able to do it in the championship
dng has done a great job for us in getting goals but as you say can look like a sunday league player at times
jim melrose played for leicester
