AB i think the point that i am making is that could the club have promoted a coach service to the game with more pick points a bit better for a crucial game??
We looked at putting on the Sussex and Canterbury coaches, but there need to be a minimum of four/five in total to make that work with the current pick-ups. That's why we couldn't commit to do them too far in advance.
We decided against doing it based on the take-up on Tuesday.
Chicken and egg, perhaps, but the numbers from these areas have been so tiny when we have done it so far in 2012 I don't think it would have made much difference.
AB if you looked at it and offered it up three weeks ago and had a good response rather than four days prior to the event do you not think you would have got a better response?
Now that is the biggest f**k off of all time, Prior telling me to Man Up.............NLA you realise i am going to be going off on one from 5.30 am saturday about the Nathan...MTFU??? YSC

To be honest, no I don't. Based on the local take-up, you'd have got half a dozen people on the M2 for whom we'd have been charged an extra £150 hire fee, and probably the same on the A21. Some of those would have been movers from local pick-ups.
There's a legitimate debate about whether we should have put on the fourth coach, but I think the decision that was made is a reasonable one on the evidence. Extra pick-ups are pretty irrelevant.
Northern clubs will always have more supporters for their away games in London than London clubs have for their games up north, because more young people (who tend to go to more away games) move to London to work or study than vice versa.
At the end of the day, the Carlisle game isn't the crucial game for promotion, where we need loads of people there to cheer the team on and get a win, if it was then maybe the club would have done more. And, as someone else mentioned, previous attempts at subsidised travel have hardly had the hoped for affect (thinking about the stuffing at Ewood park).

Maybe there is a market to set up an alternative away day travel site that is non related to the club as there seems to be a huge market out there.
have no trains running back from Carlisle after 18:50 that take 14 hours to get to London ,
it tell you what sort
a country that hasnt got a fooking clue
The service winds down far too early on a Saturday evening,so you are getting an inferior service but paying top dollar for it.I can get from Scotland and back in the week easily for a 3PM K.O at The Valley,no chance on a Saturday.Walsall away was another that could be done weekday no probs Saturday no chance add Sheff Weds and a good few others to that list.18:50 as a last train to London is very poor when you see the highway robbery prices they charge!
With respect, you're questioning someone that has organised coaches on behalf of the club for years knowing the patterns, frequency and popularity of fans going to games, with a handful of people that have said they would probably have got a coach had there been one available 2 days before the event.
It's hard luck that its so expensive to go, its hard luck that the coaches are sold out. Do you expect extra theatre performances when a theatre sells out because a tourist that happens to be over for the weekend that it is on couldn't get a ticket?
Prior you are a silly boy , I will piss my pants when wiwlb sees you on Saturday and he will , I reckon some just say solly will be happening between now and 3pm sat,

If you read it Suzi it was said tongue in check and it only took redcarter 2 minutes to bite. Mind you one thing is it is getting very clickie on here now and if you make a comment in which isn't agreed with you are shot down rather than stepping back and looking at it and then making a comment.

Then again maybe after WIWLB has kicked 7 shades of **** out of him he could get that £5 that Nathan owes Bromley Addicks : - )
NB Bromley Addicks does not condone or encourage the use of violence in the collection of debts
