Very underrated footballer for us. Was fantastic at the start of the season up front with BWP.
Always noticed how good he was with his back to goal and taking a decent first touch to hold the ball up.
I wouldn't say it is as harsh on Wycombe as it looks. Afterall, had we not loaned him to them then they wouldn't have had six extra goals in the first place.
Pleased too. Shows how much the club have come on that we have someone like Paul Hayes who we could afford to loan out. Has a very big point to prove and I like that. Welcome back Paul.
It will be very tough tomorrow. When the going gets tough, the tough get going and there ain't no one tougher than Yann. Hayes on bench. He's an intelligent footballer who can adapt to the situation whatever is required.
The amount of work Yann has been getting through, it's possible HE needs a rest. Leave him champing at the bit on the bench for 55 mins then let him rip!

I have been informed by No.1 in South London that Paul Hayes is training at Charlton Athletic's training facility at Sparrows Lane, London, SE9 this morning, 23 March 2012.
I'd start him tomorrow instead of Yann to take advantage of his good form (although I think he will be on the bench).
Harsh on Yann though when his magnificent header to BWP led to the second goal on Tuesday not forgetting his contribution to the third goal.
I understand your thinking though.
Would be unfair I agree. Just thinking Yann is a better option from bench and wouldn't want Hayes confidence to be diluted by not playing.
I'm incllined to agree. No disrespect to Kermogants contribution at all. He made a fantastic impact coming off the bench in the early third of the season, while Hayes is in particularly good form at the moment and I could see him getting a goal or assist here or there in the first half of a few of the next few games - and maybe the difference between 3 and 9 points. It would give K a bit of a rest and he'd be all the more impactful (is that a word? when he came on.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!
As i said in my other post I agree it would be unfair. 'Unbelievable' well that's bit over the top. Yann is better off the bench and would probably benefit from a bit of squad rotation (and rest). I am not suggesting dropping him permanently! Hayes appears to be in superb form and deserves to at least be considered.
They are 'completely different ' players...one is a link man who lays off and holds up the ball...the other is more or less an out and out striker (as is BWP) who feeds off those chances that Kermit provides. Are you suggesting we have two players of similar style BWP & Hayes up top....without Kermit to supply either of them? I think BWP alongside Hayes could be a recipie for disaster as neither of them are much at holding the ball up or laying it off.
Yann in the hole, laying delicious passes off for Hayes and BWP to run through on goal. If Powelly could find a way of playing the three of them, I think we could destroy defences.
Mmmmm....well not well enough to disrupt the pattern of play we have been using since then........which has been hugely successful....for the most part. Especially going into such an important fixture....."don't fix it if it aint broke" Plaaayer!

Would play him over Kermit and chuck Kermit on towards the end
Did have an absolute stinker vs scunny tho!

We've seen he has little impact from the bench.
Suspect Hayes will be pretty pissed off come 3 pm tomorrow.
Going forward, I think he'll loose his place on the bench as soon as Haynes is fit.
Maybe Haynes could be out for longer, but anyway at the moment I would have the in form Hayes in front of Haynes
