  • Is that a picture of Hillsborough?

    It's MASSIVE.

No. Hillsborough is much begged than that. Neither of those two teams from Milan should even be mentioned in the same breath as Sheffield Wednesday.
  • Comment about The Valley being converted into flats and us moving was very tongue in cheek!!
  • Be nice to see the two corners filled in and maybe get capacity up to say 34k. Personally think that would be ample in the Premiership too if it ever happened. Would rather have a tight ground full to capacity and buzzing than a partially empty bigger stadium that would only fill when the glory boys visit the big Prem sides. I also love the location of The Valley, love the walk there and the fact sits in amongst real life, other than some of the soul less grounds on outskirts of towns and industrial parks.

It would be nice to fill in the corners but from a logistical standpoint I think the second tier would need to be built first.
  • The SE corner would be fairly easy, but would mean moving the big screen. I believe the final locations for the screen if we ever built the 40k ground (somewhat unlikely) would be in the roof at both ends (like white hart lane), so I'm not sure where it would go in the meantime? The roof of the Jimmy Seed?

I presume the SW corner wouldn't be replaced until the Jimmy Seed was rebuilt, so they could incorporate the boys in blue and the emergency access to the pitch.
  • LOMBARD? In the City that is Loads Of Money But A Real Dick.
  • Put the big screen behind the goal, in front of the Jimmy South Stand.

We'll be doing the away fans a favour, as they wouldn't be able to see their team put to the sword.
  • Or when we are attacking the Covered end, put the big screen in front of the goal at the Jimmy Seed end!
