Re-opens tomorrow, but then closes Friday for "several weeks" according to the OS, can't believe it will re-open before the new shirts are available, so surely an announcement of the new sponsors is imminent?

I guess they may be wanting 1 final clearout before the shop refit, tbh I cant see the shirt dropping before that.
when I say imminent, I kinda meant in the next few weeks. When they say several I'm assuming it will be open again before the start of August really. Although with no home friendly there's not that sort of target to aim for, so the club have a bit more freedom. However, with summer coaching courses starting at the end of July you'd think they'd want the new shirt available, at least in sample form, to try and drum up some sales with all those kids.
Was down the club today. Shop was open but not much stock. Just the usual mugs, pens, scarves, dvd's and promotion t-shirts and that's about all. Went to the main reception and someone came down the stairs with a nike shirt in his hands but folded it before i could get a look..........................bugger!
I expect the new shirts to be in the shop before the Olympics, Charlton station will be heavily used during the games. No doubt there will be some level of passing trade.
Are all those that are mentioning "The O2" as a sponsor on a wind up or being serious? I only ask because don't O2 only sponsor the dome, isn't it owned by AEG?
So essentially what I'm saying is why would O2 want to sponsor the club for something that essentially isn't theirs. Make sense at all?

No idea if it's a wind up or not, but regardless of who owns The O2, surely the whole point of a sponsorship is for advertising, and that arena is commonly known as The O2. AEG wouldn't mean much to 99% of the general public.

Not many teams are owned by who sponsors them.
You have missed my point, admittedly it isn't a very well explained point but still.
Can't link a photo as I'm on my phone, but Everton have just revealed their new away kit - our home kit but black, just like ours is expected to be. Have a look on their website. Looks really good tbh.
