But you would also have played worst case scenario sub conciously and not allowed for the Blades to have an off game like tonight so in fact over compensated for their ability to win...we must be playing with your head now!
Charlton 1 - 0 Sheff Utd (could have easily been a draw) Exeter 0 - 1 Charlton (could have definitely been a draw, we got lucky) Charlton 1 - 1 Bury (could have easily lost this if it wasn't for Dale Stephens' wonder strike in 93rd minute) Charlton 2 - 1 MK Dons (seemed in control of this) Tranmere 1 - 1 Charlton (wasn't there) Charlton 1 - 1 Rochdale (could have easily lost this)
We haven't been great but I'll take the scraped results that have us top of the league. If we're in the Championship next year, which looks very likely, I doubt we'll still be wringing our hands over a poor performance against Tranmere. I expect we'll too busy celebrating not having to go back to Tranmere

This is true as long as the poor performance at Tranmere doesn't mean we end up returning to Tranmere next season.
I think promotion will be ok, whether we go up as champs. not so sure. Sheff. U are on a good run and remind me of Norwich a couple of seasons ago, when they started off badly but just steam rollered the division from just before Christmas onwards. It's going to be lack of goals that stops us being champs.
How many points do you think we will need. Juts looked at the last five years and it appears most teams that go up are in the early to mid 90's. With 15 games left we need to win 9 to hit the 96 mark.
Couple of draws and we are in panic mode all we need is a good game to get on good winning form again Sheffield will have a few slip ups every now and then. Keep the faith in SCP we trust.

Bury 0 - 3 Sheff Utd
Charlton 1 - 0 Sheff Utd
Sheff Utd 3 - 0 Wycombe
Huddersfld 0 - 1 Sheff Utd
Sheff Utd 2 - 1 Preston
They look far more likely to win matches than we do.
Thinking back over those matches of ours we could quite have easily only gained 7 pts from thos games.
Sheff Utd however have wuite clearly been scoring far more freely than we have.
I am very worried and can see us scraping 2nd spot.
I really do hope I am wrong!

Can we do that? I am sure we can
