Was at the In-laws after begging the wife to let me off and go footy!! Followed the game on CL via the Blackberry and had to sit in silence when I saw we had won as there was my small nephew asleep in the corner of the room!
Fantastic result made all the sweeter with the start of the Wendies blip. Happy days.
A massive result when you think that at one stage in the second half it was possible we could be only 2 points ahead of Wednesday and at the end of the game it was 8!
Brilliant fighting show today and we are all set to cap 2012 with our tenth away win of the camping on Saturday. It may be live on Sky but get your arses over there and roar the Reds on. We need a full 3,000 to show the players what this club can be all about. I want to wake up on New Years Day eleven points clear after a romping victory in front of the Sky cameras. If we cn do that, we can pull in over 20,000 for the Brentford game as we begin to count down the poins to promotion.
For my sins I paid a total of £150 for my son and I to join some friends watching my now local team Colchester United from the (dis)comfort of a box, all the talk is of the 2 Sheffield teams. Beware, Stevenage and MK Dons are both creeping up on us!! But I remain a Red, well done Lads
Love it. Wouldn't bother signing up. Cant be asked and there's nothing to gloat about yet but I love having a little read of there site. Especially on days like these
Yeovil were grim in the first half (apart from their brilliantly taken goal) and there was lots of space for Charlton to play in. In the second half Yeovil had two very brief spells of dominance...one just after they scored and one for the last two mins of the game...otherwise it was constant Charlton pressure. Credit must go to the Yeovil defenders who blocked countless shots and the keeper for his two brilliant saves but in the end the immense pressure of attacks cracked them open. Hollands was back to his best today and obviously Green had an eventful game. A deserved victory which had to be scrapped for.

Snap!
Was busy high-fiving my son when Walsall scored their winner I barely had time to say "all we need now is a winner" before Danny Green's goal flashed up on screen.
I was watching the action unfold on Final score as I didn't have access to a computer.
The vidiprinter showed how quickly things can change in football and at the end of the day it was a season defining minute or so as in the 90th minute our lead at the top would've been cut to 2 points but at the final whistle it was 8. : D
Just back and had something to eat. Great performance, game and result and Danny scoring made my Christmas. So pleased for him and what was nice was the rest of the team were too, COYR
We had sky on and I was following the CL matchthread on my phone. I jumped up, gave it a cry and started singing Danny Green. Everyone started jumping and cheering, then that doubt kicked in where NO ONE proper believed me because it hadn't come up on the screen.
Must have been a good 2-3 minutes before it come up on Sky.
Not quite 50 points by Christmas but 50 points by New Year with less than half our matches played.
The difference a minute or two can make, with events at the Bescot and Yeovil, may well prove to be season defining and what an opportune time for Danny Green to come good!

Danny Green scored a dramatic last-minute winner for Charlton at Yeovil.
According to BBC Journo.
Green scores in the 91st minute and there is over 7 minutes extra time. (How was there x7 minutes extra time ? )
Quality writing.
