up till we beat them it was Huddersfield was the thret and in a few weeks its all changed, but we just keep plugging away doing what we need to do.By Easter it will be different again, why worry who's second or third,as long as CP and his team keep producing the goods, there's nothing to worry about and still have a buffer of 5pts.
Those singing the songs were spotted by club officials today I think, wouldn't surprise me to see some action at the next home game if they've been identified. But let's not go through that again...
Funny at how they knew exactly where to look! Mick couldn't have made himself less obvious.
Only heard one rendition of the incest song early on which was booed at - didn't here, indeed have never heard the other two - and I don't want to either.
Good to hear the Club is taking action (and that Mick is back in action). Hope the little twats like Jimbo and his mates will soon realise that yes, the club can and will do something and no, it's not banter or atmosphere. Well done to WSS and anyone else who shouted them down.
Does anyone who was at the match know why Hamer started claiming for something before the goal was scored. Seemed absolutely bizarre that he didn't play to the whistle. Looking at the replay I wonder if he'd thrown himself at it, if he couldn't have stopped it, or at least got close.
I was sitting behind the goal and Hamer and one of our defenders (can't remember who) were playing games with Jon Macken - the usual stuff that goes on at corners with pushing & shoving as Macken was trying to get in front of Hamer. As the ball came over I clearly saw Hamer give Macken a big shove in the back & was fearful the ref would spot it & give a pen................he didn't and the ball was cleared only for it to come pinging back & get deflected straight to Macken. Hamer could have been appealing about Macken being offside or the aforementioned pushing & shoving...........

He was appealing for offside as Macken appeared to be. However, I've looked at the replay numerous times & it's impossible to tell. I also agree with Golfie, I think it was Hollands who was "wrestling" with Macken & I also saw Hamer shove Macken away from him.
He put his hand up for offside. he had no chance for the goal as he had already dived for the inital shot that took the reflection.
Didn't seem that way from the TV pictures. He was standing up straight appealing, not really diving or reacting either way. What happened to play-to-the-whistle?
Very disappointed that the Beeb couldn't be arsed to show the shot that hit the post in the last minute.
That was a coat of paint away from being a sensational winner - but apparently not news worthy.
If that had been a Prem match, there would have been 5 minutes of action replays from every conceivable angle and god knows how much bollox spouted by the muppet pundits.
A final thought - Waggy is becoming a joke in my opinion. OK, I'm sure he hates warming the bench but when he is on the pitch he doesn't do himself any favours. Constantly waving his arms about, blaming those around him when a move goes wrong and the dive at the end was disappointing to say the least. Someone should have a serious word with the lad.
Nearly forgot . Please don't blame Jimmy Melrose for the loss of 2 points. The real culprit was the bouncer who refused to let us in the Clubhouse saying it was full...even though he was letting loads of fans out . Needless to say, I didn't wish him a Happy Xmas. So, no white wine for Fanny pre match = no win. Hope the marquee is still in place at Yeovil....
You must have been stuck outside the clubhouse with us - we made the decision to turn around and go to the nearest pub - every Brummie we met told us it was "left, and left again, not far" - it was bloomin miles away ! And they didn't accept card (!) so we made do with the booze aisle of the Morrisons across the road.
Not too sure about all this Waggy negativity. People seem to have made up their minds that they love Danny Green and hate Scott Wagstaff no matter how either of them play on the day. I'd say both have had roughly as much game time as each other and I don't think one has proved that much better than the other despite one coming through the academey and still being relitively young and the other costing a significant amount of money. I'm sure all sorts of statistics can be trotted out to prove that Danny Green is the best thing since sliced bread, but based on watching almost every game this season I just don't see it - hope I do soon.
You're quite right . Green has been disappointing so far from what we expected. There hasn't been much to choose between them.
NB They both came up through our youth system. It's just that Green left & returned.
Agree there's not much between them. Waggy has had a few more minutes on the pitch but has 2 assists compared to Green's 4. Then again DG takes corners and free kicks. Waggy is still ahead on goals (3 - 0) while Green is winning 4 - 2 on bookings. (see LLs stats)
I don't think Green has been disappointing, it's more that some had some unrealistically high expectations of him and unfair pre-conceptions about Waggy being a headless chicken and that wasn't going to change, regardless of how he did.
Both good but quite different players IMHO. Hope it's not true that Waggy is off to Brighton as we'll need that sort of energy and fight. Don't care about the so called whinging and complaining just as it never worried me when Johnny Robinson did the same. And as said above it's Green with more yellow cards.

Waggy has more pace and is more of a direct goal threat both more than useful players!
