glad we didn't lose, but we need to win next week to 2 away games to follow
No we don't. why do fans insist on ramping up the pressure as soon as even a point is dropped. All we need to do is average a couple of points a game between now and the end of the season and we will be promoted pretty comfortably. Win at home, draw away between now and the end of the season and it'll be job done.
Win at home, thats what I said and what you said. Weird ?
Sorry Steve, I appear to have mis-understood your first post.
I dont think Dons are strong enough physically!Wednesday are looking good and they are probably the most physical side in the division which will always leave them in a good position! We were very poor today but we cant play well every week! Someone said earlier that Dickov will have their lot nipping at us next week, well i think Powell will definitely want an improvement on that performance today!
Glad to hear someone's positive. One draw in nine matches and all of a sudden people are scared. Oldham are 16th - there's no reason at all they we can't beat them irrespective of what Dickov gets his team to do.
Was at the game. Thought it was one of those days. BWP missed after 30 secs, it was at the other end so couldn't see much, and Danny Hollands missed a good header in the second half, but our crossing was poor except for hogan's for the goal and that was why we didn't score a second. There goal was lucky, and except for the fantastic Russell header off the line, Walsall were poor.
We were poor today no arguments no excuses it was only that walsall were toilet that it was not another stevenage. And BWP great striker yes but off days yes, one of which was today.
Sad day when within the first 10 mins we get renditions of the Lisbie, Ambrose & Incest songs !!!! After a few shouts of "no" and "shut up" they didn't get another airing................but then I don;t think these idiots sung anything else all game & certainly didn't join in with the rest of us when "Chrissy Powells red & white army" and "VFR" got sung.
As for the game...............I thought a draw was a fair result & Walsall one of the better teams we have played this season. Special mentions go to Daryl Russell, Big Yann & Danny Hollands - although Hollands really shoud have buried his header. That said, its a point more than we had this morning and we are missing 2 key players in Stephens & JJ.
Those singing the songs were spotted by club officials today I think, wouldn't surprise me to see some action at the next home game if they've been identified.
I dunno, if you go swimming and want to do forty lengths overall, it's ok to take a swift breather after the first twenty as long as you turn back and plunge in and push for the final twenty. I reckon today at Walsall represents a bit of a breather, not deliberate, but it just wasn't gonna happen, and we come home with a point. Fair enough. If you look on it as four points away from the Brentford and Walsall games, very good going actually.
Lets prepare for Oldham well, and then get straight for the Christmas and New Year fixtures. Next week Franchise host Preston, Sheff Utd go all the way to Bournemouth, and Weds play Hudds, things could look quite different in a week, we need to focus on Oldham, nothing more.
Golfie tell your brother to piss of back to france ;-)
LOL. Back for Yeovil away so may be best to give that one a swerve. On the game, didn't do enough to win but didn't look like losing. Hollands missed a sitter, should have had a last minute penalty. Ephraim and Russell had very good games, Yann not far behind. Surprised no one has mentioned Russels excellent clearance off the line. All in all, another game unbeaten and another point on to the total.
As Rick said no booing today, shame about some of our other 'support'.

Hey mate, remember- One Aim!
Sorry Steve, I appear to have mis-understood your first post.
Got a hoprrible feeling MK Dons may just win this league with Sheff Wed grabbing 2nd spot...
Having said that there centre half got man of the match........... results like this are gonna happen in our quest for the CHAMPIONSHIP!

It just didn't happen today for anyone really.

But let's not go through that again...
