  • Speaks volumes for how far we have come this season when we / I are feeling a bit disappointed to have got a point away from home. I have every confidence in this lot from Slater to the tea lady.
  • A point away from home is always good. More than that is a bonus!

  • can't win 'em all!
Wednesday fans confidence looking well placed, firmly in second place for now and doing very well, as are franchise

  • glad we didn't lose, but we need to win next week to 2 away games to follow
No we don't. why do fans insist on ramping up the pressure as soon as even a point is dropped. All we need to do is average a couple of points a game between now and the end of the season and we will be promoted pretty comfortably. Win at home, draw away between now and the end of the season and it'll be job done.
Win at home, thats what I said and what you said. Weird ?

Hey, a point keeps everything ticking along nicely.

Put yourself in the shoes of poor old New Cross Athletic .......all they have got to look forward to is a relegation dogfight. And massive crowds of 11,000.

Highlight of first half was a catering guy walking in front of us carrying a box of burger buns and someone calling out 'Nice baps you've got there mate', Clearance by Russell on the goal line was stupendous. I thought Walsall played quite well at times, much better than their league postion suggests. They beat us to the ball and won in the air too often for my liking. Both sides squandered chances on a puddingy slippy pitch. Just an iffy offy day but I was a tad concerned by BWP, he seemed very lethargic and almost indifferent.
  • another small step to promotion and a shame the run couldn't continue for the 2500 ,2000 1065 travelling addicks

looks like wednesday are , for now, our biggest rivals which wont be a surprise to me but will be to all the goons writing off megson at the beginning of the season

20% champs 30% runners up 50% play off carnage

  • A the end of the day we it's a point and keeps us going. Unbeaten in 9, only lost once in the league in 20 games and long may it continue! The player's fought to try and win today in the second half and that's all you can ask for.

I just had an operation in hospital and in agony. Was listening on my laptop and damaged myself by jumping when we scored! haa
  • The thing with Wednesday is they are very dependent on their loan players. Be interesting to see what happens in January when Batth and Marshall (their best player) are due to return back to their parent clubs.
  • its a sign of how far we have come that im gutted tonight we have only taken a point, I'm so desperate to get out of this league.

    you're right

walsall are bottom 4 we need to be beating them but we have a buffer but we don't wanna rely on it and as you say 3 points against oldham will help ease the tension before the next match

  • feck off with the ONE AIM , strange im on a downer tonite.
  • i'm slightly nervous

i thought oldham would trouble wednesday more and don't think we'll walk it next week , dickov will have them nipping at us and they'll be an annoying side like him!

Stop being so negative. We will stuff them out of sight.
  • they've done a job on us the last 2 years , but that was with Parky at the helm.I hope Powelly has a few tricks up his sleeve.

You got done right and proper there, Steve lol
  • Great form, great run, great football ......... So why do we all get worried with an away draw, joys of being a Charlton fan I suppose lol

i'm not being negative i'm just saying how i feel if you can read below that's not negative but then that doesn't suit your bizarre agenda

  • Not the greatest game. Seemed we had a few problems getting going and I don't think the pitch helped.

Thought the lino in front of us (left touchline) and the ref were pretty crap.

We had a lot of support there today but didn't create much atmosphere and you weren't gonna get much from what looked like a 1000 brummies.

All in all another point toward the ultimate goal.

    Specially for NSS                            ONE AIM.

  • your right mate scared of getting my hopes up

  • Also does anyone know if Hayes was injured as he wasn't on the bench.
  • Great reaction from the players, i.e. half had heads in hands at the final whistle, presumably reacting to the fact we'd only drawn rather than just the last second chance. Also no moronic booing to report.
  • we were poor
  • we were poor
And we still got a point. Thats what champions are made of.
  • hope so, big game vs oldham next week. bwp needs to start looking interested
  • thats one shit comment.

    What Bizarre Agenda?

If you mean disagreeing with you constant negativity is a bizarre agenda than im totally guilty .  50% play offs my arse

  • thats one shit comment.
I'm guessing your talking about the one from Mike
  • bwp was off the pace again
  • BBC stats say we only had one shot on target.

However, the commentary below it includes the following:

11:44Hogan Ephraim takes a shot. Save by Jimmy Walker.

27:46The ball is swung over by Yann Kermorgant, fantastic save by Jimmy Walker.

Either their keeper was saving stuff that was going wide, or the BBC stats are complete garbage,
