  • I have booked 12 pound train tickets for Exeter game on day of the 4th round - am I being too pessimistic?
Those who dont get a ticket for the Cottage - we will have 20000 for the replay!

  • IMO There should be no complaints. Tickets were distributed fairly and if you wanted one, You could've got one. Staff were brilliant and there is now way anyone can moan about selling 7k tickets in under a week for Fulham away!

Anyone have any news on how tickets are selling their end though ?

I have no idea how many they have sold but i wouldn't be surprised if they had a less than us on the day.
Leave off. That's if you're suggesting Fulham will have less than 7000.
    That's exactly what i'm suggesting.

They have Man Utd at home on December the 21st and then Arsenal at home on January the 2nd . After those two i doubt they will be queuing around the block for Charlton at home.

There again i have been wrong before.
  • beware elfsborg

the truth, unless it is praising all things charlton , is not welcome here

and it's your bedtime son lets go to sleep and count our away fans............. at fulham , you'll get to sleep before you've finished.......................(for once)

hahaha, we must go for a drink some time, take care Mr Mortimer

So a new love affair begins  ............
  • Just checked my tickets and does anyone have any idea were row GG is?
  • ZZ is up the top and JJ is on the stairway which is in the middleish. So I'd say GG is quite near the middle

    cheers for the info.
  • don't have a problem with what elfsborg has said - he is right and i unashamedly admit to being a glory boy these days when it comes to away games. If i was ashamed of it, i'd go to more away games but i'm not, so it doesn't really matter does it?
  • Got my tickets today. Was desperate to avoid the dreaded p7.

Got p5 row s, which im guessing from coments above is just under half way up. Good times.

  • P4 row c - presume thats 3rd row from the front? Dissapointing particularly with young kids who could be in the rain and not be able to see whats going on but thats the luck of the draw i guess.

  • note to self - must stop upsetting the clique
  • What time does ticket office open tomorrow?

Am I better or going down there or ringing up?
  • Can I get tickets on the phone tomorrow? Coming to game but not getting to ground til 12 earliest as live in Cambridge.
  • Can I get tickets on the phone tomorrow?
    Yes, from 9am
  • Is there an option on any more tickets from Fulham?
  • If you live nearish to the ground, I would get down there by 8.45 & you're bound to get one. If you rely on the phone you may have a problem getting through. Both phone & Commercial centre open at 9am.

There are 52 rows. Front Row is A, mid point is Z. Then it goes further back from AA to ZZ.  ZZ being the back row.

  • Everyone getting great seats , even more fearful of being in the P7 , don't think i'll mind that much though as its not classed as restricted view so should be fine.
    Are restricted view seats cheaper?
what is up with P7 ?

The seats are facing away from the pitch.

    quality
  • P3 row PP - get in

  • P3 row I
all I need to get is the train tickets down to London.
  • What an atmosphere this should be!
  • Its a shame that there are probably 6000 fans who do not go away on a regular basis to the league games, glory boys springs to mind.

Quite agree I think the club should only have sold tickets to those who went to halifax, the rest of you could have watched the goals on Sky
  • The word 'glory' must have a much broader definition than I'd realised.
  • well we wouldnt take the piss if 45k millwall went to wembley would we?

of course people can comment on this large away following - personally think it is good bt how many did we take there in prem years?
  • Got P3 Row T
  • Since my last comment, it's been like a mother meeting in here. Everyone take a deep breath.

The thread is regarding ticket sales. May I pass on again to airman my thanks for the updates throughout the last few days. Hopefully those restricted view tickets won't be to bad.

    Charlton till we die

The most I would claim for the sale is that it is better than selling less - and Fulham, in the reverse situation, including status, would not be able to sell more than half as many even if we gave them that number of seats.

Craven Cottage isn't Wembley. Had we played, say, Tranmere in the 1998 play-off final we'd have sold many more than 33,000 - people forget the restrictions imposed to prevent Sunderland buying.

As for our foliowing in the PL, I don't recall an issue at Fulham. The club would regularly take less than the maximum allocation at away grounds because it wouldn't risk having to pay for the tickets, which for example is the sole reason we didn't have the most possible when we won on TV at Highbury. That was a misguided decision at the time as Arsenal always sold out.

The problem was at Chelsea and Spurs, in particular, and I for one stopped going to the former after the pitch debacle because of the rip-off pricing, as I'm sure did others.
