  • I believe we have all of this:

  • Are people seriously concerned that 7,000 tickets might run out...

Not worried just stating tickets might go fast this week
  • It is hard to predict fully as these occasions are rare but I would say its fairly likely they will run out. How many did we take to spurs last year, 4,300? We could have sold plenty more I believe and we were playing abysmally then and on a dreadful run. Baring in mind how much our league away followings have grown this season, the current run of form, the appeal of a fulham trip (Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday, more appealing drinking than Spurs and probably marginally easier to get to), I think it is fair to assume that demand will outstrip Spurs comfortably.
  • Never easy to decide how to allocate tickets but as a season ticket holder and supporter of many years, but no longer as now living on the Isle of Wight it seems fairest to allow one ticket to each season ticket holder and all the rest on general sale together .... Just seems a bit unfair to allow a season ticket holder to buy 4 tickets for non regulars/supporters when passionate and keen fans like myself have to wait to see if any left.  Hopefully it wont be a problem and will be plenty left though so fingers crossed and cant wait for the game.
You might be a passionate/keen fan but they're still putting their hand in their pockets regularly, you're not and no one wants a ticket by themselves. Seems fair to me, regulars can still easily get tickets
  • Will be surprised if anyone who wants a ticket can't get one.

I missed out on Spurs last year but bought a spare off here (from Dave Mehmet I think-cheers!)

Expect we'll sell about 6k in the end-maybe just over and everybody will be happy-should be a great day out regardless of the result, especially we keep up our league form over the Xmas.New Year period which is all that matters really

What sort of Mickey Mouse club are they? Do they eject neutral fans for being in the home end and vise versa?
  • Any idea what seats will be sold first ? If I ring up on Monday as I'm eligible will I get a ticket bottom right in the picture ? Obviously prefer something in the middle !!

Part of the agreement with Fulham is that we sell in sections above from right to left, as they are sceptical that there is demand for the whole stand (but what would they know!?).

However, in view of the priority structure we will sell p6 first, and because there is a post at the back we will sell it from the front first. Beyond that I can't make any promises. It will be pot luck.

Please can everyone understand from the outset that we cannot possibly negotiate preferred seats with individuals, who in any case will have different ideas about what constitutes the best seat.

Hi Airman, can I reserve a seat in P4, I would like the one half way up the white "H" on the left hand side of it

     :-)

  • i'd like to book out the whole of P5 for my travelling circus

Thanks for the info Airman. Totally understand the reasoning. I'll probably give Monday a miss and take my chances with a later purchase. No need to rush in straight away.

    Cheers

  • I',m very superstitious so while we have continually been winning away, I have kept away. So I aint been one this season, however as this is the cup I will be going, I will buy 4 off of my season ticket, 4 off of my sons season ticket, and 4 off of the lad I take's season ticket as I have had a lot of people ringing me to get them tickets, as they aren't season ticket holders.
As your buying for the whole of the upper north grab u's two
  • are you back from your la di da skiing then ?

    Two sets of goals?

Is that to give Johnson his bearings for when he falls over gets hacked down?

I used to work on the turnstiles at the Putney end and short answers to your questions they are a huge Mickey Mouse club and no they don't eject anyone. When selling tickets for the neutral section do you know what the rules were? Nothing, we were never told do not sell to an away fan. Complete joke of a club, I've wanted to see them relegated for years.
  • We will sell all 7000 tickets I think.
  • I've always wondered where the away fans sit when they haven't got the whole stand. The fans between that goal hardly ever celebrate.

  • everybody i know and everybody that everybody i know knows is going. We have to aim to have more fans there than them and i think we will.
  • Well I'll be down at the Valley on Wednesday morning getting tickets for my son and me (both season ticket holders) and at £15 a pop it's a very fair price.
  • We wont have more fans there than them, pretty sure their season ticket holders get this round of the cup included in their package and they have more than 7,000 season ticket holders

you're right - forgot about that
  • That's assuming their season ticket holders turn up.  Or they might have hundreds of 'neutral' season ticket holders who suddenly decide to commit their lives to Charlton.

If that's the case  - and it may be - I am not clear why they wanted a special price for season-ticket holders?

Fulham are sounding much more akward than I imaged. But then again they are a "huge club"

I think we will sell the allocation easily.

No you haven't. Get in the pubs to ceebrate from 11, go to the game, get home and have your party. You're not cool unless you arrive "fashionably late"....especially to your own party

Even better if you get everyone going to your house to go to the game too :p
