Taken on 31/10/95, apparently. Although we played Norwich at home that season on the 21st, not the 31st.

    Score was 1-1!
  • Is that Gazza in a ginger wig?
  • It was fun, but, there have been some noisy nights since the new Covered end was built, Boro in the cup, the Palace games, Swindon play offs.

The club has been on the slide pretty much since it was built to be honest.

  • I wouldnt say we were on the slide from 2001-2005

i think its his mate moaty
  • bottom line is that its a bigger ground and when its bursting at the seams and all is going well it is capable of being far noisier than it was then so lets concentrate on how it can be. Since it was built, we had the moribund prem mid table monotony (which we are all of course grateful for) and then the relegation years. Once the new north has seen a couple of promotions, then we will see what its really capable of.

this. At the time most on this board were in the covered end, we had got back to the valley, had a group of players that loved the club, a stable manager and a youth set up that was spewing out first team players. I think now is the first season since then that we have those things, or are looking to see these things happen (apart from coming back to the valley of course). Lets see what the next few seasons will hold, very exciting times indeed!

Looks like everyone had to wear a denim jacket to be in the covered end.

Looked at the photo again. Edit - Norwich wear Denim jackets.
