I tell you what its quite funny looking at their comments whilst the matches were going on yesterday.
its true though, it's weird, at some point of a game we are amateur at best, even shocking, fair enough all these little teams are up for it, biggest games of their seasons, but no excuse, we have a squad/team on paper at least that should be blowing these teams away, maybe a bit of over confidence even laziness is creeping In again, or maybe we as fans have got over excited and carried away because our massive players look like they need to grow a pair and reward our magnificent, massive support by giving their ALL until the final whistle blows...
Their fans have only set themselves up for a big fall. On their own forum, talking about how Charlton are very average and how it will be them and hudders competing for the automatics. Talking about how they have the best squad in the league by far. Talking about how they are massive.
And then on here giving it the biggun' as well.

This is all a bit pathetic, tbh. Anyone who goes onto another club's forum, takes the time to register an account there and then tries to wind them up is slightly sad. Probably just needs to get out a bit more. That goes for us as well, btw.
Had a look following this thread and they do seem to be either wildly optimistic or incredibly pessimistic with not so many in the middle. Must admit I was surprised they were up in second as I think quality wise they are a bit short of the best teams and the blips were always more likely to come from them. I think you need to ignore the points to a degree and analyse who are the best teams in this league.We can say we are the best without too many people being able to acuse us of bias. Behind that I think Huddersfield, who have had a blip, are the second best. Sheff Utd seem the best at dispatching the poorer sides and MK Dons are a good solid footballing side. The top 2 places are going to be 2 from these 4 and one could make a strong case, even at the season's halfway point that it is one from 3 of them with us being nailed on.
Sheff Wednesday are just behind these sides ability wise but are certs for the play offs with the final place up for grabs. Stevenage look a decent bet for that at the moment but teams with smaller squads could be affected with injuries. Now one or two inspired signings could change things and Sheff Wed are well placed to push on if they do good business, but if they don't splash the cash there is no way they are top 2 material.

We are on a fantastic run and have only lost 1 game. I would have expected to have been more than 8 points clear with that statistic. However the top 5 are so superior that our rivals are still on our coat tails
I admit to sneaking a peek at Owlstalk now and again (especially at full-time on Saturday!) as it is so funny - they are arrogant and deluded. But I agree that there's still along way to go, so we shouldn't come across as arrogant. The results so far and current table speak for themselves, as they will at the end of the season
We have been and still are the best team in league one. It doesn't mean to say we will reproduce that form as consistently in the second half of the season. We are certainly well placed and even I think are nailed on for at least a playoff place but although optomistic about the remainder of the season, that is as far as my expectations carry me.
Yes, definitely very optimistic about the rest of the season. I lost my internet connection for about 2 minutes on Saturday - we were losing and the Wendies were winning - went ballistic when I got the connection back, then thought I was not totally surprised and realised just how much faith I have in SCP, the board and the team. Even more wonderful after recent seasons
Long way to go, if it wasn't for the last 5 minutes on Monday we'd only be 3 clear of them. After the Oldham game i said the next 5 league games are tough we've won the first let's hope we can win the next 4

They've signed Marshall on loan for the rest of the season apparently. He's signed a new 3 year contract with Stoke, but they've let him stay out on loan.
