Finished 17th in Champ , just signed Jordan Rhodes , got a young 15 year old lad Ben Evans whose come throught the academy got 4 goals in 7 games , worth 1.5m Man Utd are after him, Spurs just bid 3.7m , not sure whether to take the cash and run , hold on to him and play the season , or hold out for more cash , Charlton have a 3m a season loan to pay back , which is crippling me financially.
Should i sell this 15 year old to Spurs for 3.7m , or hold on to him hope he does the business and his value goes up ?
Won the league 1 title with 101 points (Morrison finished with 12 goals and had a hatrick to his name!!), then lost the championship playoff final 3-2 to Swansea after finishing 3rd 1 point off 2nd!!!
Now im sitting pretty at the top of the championship 7 points clear of 2nd placed Wet Spam. Got a brilliant CB on loan from Chelsea (Kalas) partenered with Morro, and ive decided to go for a decent defensive approach, only conceeded 8 in 21 games!!
Arthuro on a free is an absolute beast. Play him up front as a supporting target man, he and BWP bang them in. Both have 12 goals in 17 games for me.
I didn't sign Pugh, but managed to pick up Dave Martin from Derby for £30k. My scouts and coaches don't rate him, but he hugs the touchline and whips in dangerous balls so he's alright.
I find that Francis and Evina perform better than Solly and Wiggins, but I rotate them most of the time.

its not working im afraid do you know if theres a way you can back up the game files. Football managers been nothing but trouble scince they put it on steam
*Edit ive found a way to back up the game files and im just going to uninstall and re install it. TBH it wasnt that hard to get charlton promoted was it i think everyone here has managed to do it within 2 seasons

However, without seeing his stats it's a bit hard to give any advice!
Cheers Dabos , stats not to hand he's 15 and from the academy , he could be the next Defoe (ability wise) my transfer budget is zero , but even with the money Charlton are in so much debt i don't think i'd have anything to spend , so i'd only be selling him to help out with the debts.
Its an interesting one and makes me think if we got a crazy offer for a player who only play 6 or 7 games , we'd be nuts to turn it down..... hang on we've been here before.... Jenkinson! will try to get £5m
Promoted by miles in first season, more than holding own in Championship and readying for an end of season assault on the playoffs - although have no money, and no players worth anything to sell, hopefully after a full season in championship should clear the 2/3million in debt as just about breaking even each month, Attendances up to 22-24k. Managed get a few good freebies at start of championship young french striker called Delmorte (something like that??), Ben Mee (released from Man City youth), Guy Assalin (been injured so unsure on him at mo), Petrucci (CM - Man United youth/reserves released), Some young french winger can't remember name on a free (been injured all season).
Last season signed Higdon (Motherwell striker 180k) Hately (RB from motherwell again I think, 120k), Andros Townsend (Loan - then spent most of season injured)
If you'll be given all the money to spend, then sell him.

2nd season (first in championship) struggling early on, now half way through October....21st in the league and keep getting messages with newspapers reporting we are set for administration. Losing 700k-900k every month...wage budget is around 15k less than what it was in league 1......I've not signed anyone but free players and I'm spending less per week on wages than last year but still losing money.

Got Shrewsbury promoted from L2 to L1 via playoffs then from L1 to Champ by finishing 2nd, didnt even strengthen the squad much, just where extra cover was needed
