Yep. Get afeeder club in Europe and send him on loan until he gains citizenship. He's good in the Championship and not bad as a cheap backup player in the Prem scores quite a few for me as Super sub.

In 1st season with the Addicks. Bit of a mixed bag so far. 13 games played and currently 5th but starting to string some good results together (the highlight being thrashing Hudds at home 6-1, the low losing 4-0 at home to wallsall). Bournemouth and colchester running away with it so far (wtf).
It's the 15th of Oct and Lee clark, Karl Robinson & Gary Smegson all got sacked after todays defeats............................happy days.
3 players I picked up on freebies that have been awsome so far are Josh Wright, Stephen Jordan (LB) and Kelvin Etuhu (AML) who was released by Man City and is top quality. Also go Tom Soares and Andrea Orlandi both on season long loans.

I believe you can only sign players without permits if you already have a EU feeder club. Try to get a Czech one as it's only 2 years. Sign them up an then move to affiliate under the transfer options.
Although Deble did have to wait an extra 3 months for his paperwork to come through!
Played 3 games in the Champ , top with 7 points , not sure my squad is going to big enough if i get injuries,but will use youth players as backup , cousins and Harriot , who is worth 800k , and who has done well, have signed lots of players on free transfers who are better than what i've got , then shipped out the ones i didn't want ie Josh Wright, Morrison is awesome in this game , he got me 7 goals last season in League 1, have paired him up with a guy called Hutchison , who looks really good , but got sent off in his 1st game!

Its frustrating as they have Sturridge, Essien and Mchechrean(sic) just rotting in the reserves! I know its a long shot with Sturridge and Essien but they arent usign them for god sake!

Made it to the 5th round of the FA Cup where I was 1-0 up until the last 10 minutes where they scored twice and knocked me out. Shelvey starts every game for them.
I play a kind of 4-5-1 with two inside forwards playing off BWP so more like a 4-1-2-2-1.

BWP has over 20 goals already. Waggy's into double figures, Green has a got a few assists. Ashbee is brilliant as a DM and only cost me 20k. Gary Gardner as an advanced playmaker scores and makes plenty. Obika is decent off the bench up front or out wide and you can get him on loan from Spurs in January. Can't seem to get the best out of Hayes or Kermogant. Townsend was brilliant in his short loan spell, as was Parrett. Davies excellent at the back. Amos and Perch are a bit hit and miss and Cunningam is probably my best player.
Not played FM for a few years so found all the extra features a bit daunting at first. Started my career unemployed and got hired by Eastleigh in the BS south after a few months. Finished 7th, then 1st and am currently sitting about 8th in the BS Premier. Still only have a wage budget of £6k so struggling to compete in this league. I have 1 loyal away fan that turns up at every game. Think it's about time for a new job. Charlton are still in league 1 with Brian Laws looking shaky at the helm so hopefully that job may come up soon enough.

Make sure you sell your player options when the board offer then , they take an age to offer them so keep checking , have kerchinged quite a a bit of cash this way.
Go to - transfer and then - clauses , quite a few for Shelvey , i didn't find this out until i'd been playing for quite a while.
Honest to god. This game can muck you up 4-0 up against aston villa in the 6th round of the fa cup .. changed the tactics to defending and played 4-5-1 instead of 4-4-2 , then lost 5-4 ! Ffs
I beat West Ham Away 4-1 in the League Cup 2nd Round, have got Everton at Home In the 3rd Round , not sure we could beat West Ham Away 4-1 , but i can dream ;-0
Just started up my first FM12 game, chosen Charlton so who do you recommend me to sign?
Eric Lichaj can play both full back positions, Chris Wood and Febien Brandy are great additions up front, Josh Wright is decent as a backup and Andros Townsend terrorises League 1 defences. Ben Amos is a class above Hamer and Sullivan, and Marcel Seip is good if you can get rid of Doherty!
Why is it so much easier to loan in players when your in league 1 , other than the championship. ?

Same things happening to me at the moment. Finished 4th in League One and beat Bournemouth 3-0 and 1-0 in the play-off semi's then beat Chesterfield 5-0 in the final somehow even though they'd beaten me 3-0 home and away during the season.
Currently in pre-season and managed to shift a lot of dead wood so I've so far brought in Sean Davis, Joey O'Brien, Nathan Baker, Michael Tonge and Andrew Davies on frees with Andros Townsend and Eccleston coming on loan with me paying 100% of their wages. Just need a decent left back if I can't get Cunnigham back in on loan. Any tips?

Lichaj, can play both sides of defence and for some reason his stats were massively inflated on my game after a season, can be found in Aston Villa's reserves
